In a molecular analysis of more than two hundred American burgers, scientists have found very unattractive ingredients from a nutritional point of view, including rat and human DNA. This information was published in a report by Clear Labs.
Scientists conducted a study of 258 burgers from 79 different brands, purchased in 22 stores in Northern California. In 13.6% of cases, specialists found some "problems".
In addition to human and rat DNA, experts also discovered other violations. Most often, there was a discrepancy with the nutritional value declared by the manufacturer and the substitution of ingredients, which occurred in 6% of cases.
4.3% of the investigated products contained pathogens. Pork DNA was found in one of the beef patties acquired by the scientists, while a turkey burger and two beef burgers were "stuffed" with chicken DNA.
Fifteen percent of the veggie burgers were found to be lacking in ingredients, two of the samples studied contained meat, and one of the black bean burgers did not contain the ingredient at all.
Clear Labs conducted a similar study last year on American hot dogs. Some of the products also contained human DNA.

Explaining the test results at Clear Labs, they emphasized that the presence of human DNA does not mean that your burger was made from some person, but most likely, it means that someone accidentally touched food or accidentally left a fragment of their hair. on the product.
