Arianna Faro, a 23-year-old student from Boston, suffers from the rare Knippel-Trenone syndrome (Knippel-Trenone disease). This is an anomaly in the development of the deep main veins of the lower extremity with a violation of their patency, manifested by hypertrophy of the extremity, varicose veins of the saphenous veins and the presence of hemangiomas or age spots on the skin.
Due to the syndrome, Arianna has a very thick left leg with venous spots. She has the same bumps and spots in the lower abdomen and on the buttocks. The girl has already undergone 60 operations on her leg, but the worst thing is that due to a progressive disease, the girl is slowly losing mobility and now she is forced to move only in a wheelchair.
At the same time, the disease gives her severe pain, Arianna cannot even remember when she was not hurt. Despite all this, she is optimistic and is studying psychology at the university. Also, in order to support other patients with the same syndrome, she uploads her photos and stories about herself on Instagram and on a Facebook page.
Arianne's Knippel-Trenone Syndrome was diagnosed shortly after her birth, but everyone has it differently. A common feature is that everyone has to go through nasty surgeries to drain excess fluid from swollen limbs. Also, all patients are faced with the occurrence of varicose cones and fat lumps.
Due to stagnation of blood in the veins, Arianna has pains not only in her leg, but also in her buttocks and in the perineum. Because of this, she often develops a painful condition like the flu and bacterial infections.

Due to her illness, Arianna has never had sexual contacts, but she said that she has a close friend who knows about her condition and their relationship, although slowly, is developing.
Since the syndrome is very rare and poorly understood and occurs in only 1 in 100 thousand people, no drugs have yet been invented for its treatment. Doctors can only temporarily alleviate the condition of patients by prescribing pain relievers.
