In the night sky over Karelia in September 1977, in front of the astonished pilots' eyes, out of nowhere, a strange orange glow appeared. The aircraft crew immediately realized that this was not a natural anomaly, but a reasonably controlled phenomenon. The materials of the folder said that an aircraft was observed over Petrozavodsk, from which the smallest streams of bright light emanated. It included scientists from the Academy of Sciences, specialists from the Defense Ministry and specialists from the KGB Directorate. Local centers for tracking UFOs and various atmospheric anomalies were deployed in all military units of the country.
