As soon as it became clear that the WOW Signal (1977) became a response to the Aresibian message of earthlings (1974) and repeated its scheme by answering the TEST to the TEST (and any test is always a test for intelligence), the letters of the 6-EQUJ Signal immediately opened their meaning -five.
The letters EQUJ turned out to be an abbreviation of the phrase "effective IQ", and the number 65, with this phrase, apparently indicated "level of intelligence."
The very concept of "coefficient" means - "a numerical factor in a literal expression" - exactly what we see in the record of the WOW Signal - 6EQUJ5.
The intelligence quotient is usually denoted by the record IQ - intelligence quotient.

It should be noted here that the WOW Signal could have come to the Earth with such characteristics that would indicate the "IQ" as MEDIUM - from 90% and above, which, in their own opinion, corresponds to the majority of earthlings. But all the same, the assessment was given as LOW MIND.
The medical characteristic of OLIGOPHRENIA is defined as the presence of total dementia or total intellectual disability.
There is no desire for cognitive and intellectual activity.

The general conclusion of the decryption of the WOW Signal - Direct Contact with Earthlings is unpromising and dangerous, due to the unpredictability of the human reaction.

Until now, there have been several attempts to reach Contact and repeated "testing of earthly intelligence". Unfortunately, IQ was downgraded to "severe insanity", with a border of 20% or less.
This is already a degree of complete insanity in relation to the surrounding space and to oneself.
Therefore, humanity has come today to the moment of real self-destruction, when even the innate instinct for self-preservation is no longer a protective function of consciousness.
Such a third-party assessment of the Earthlings' mental abilities also gives answers to questions important for Extraterrestrial Contact:
- why the aliens do not go to direct contact with us, - why we still haven't found any traces of their presence, - and why we consider ourselves alone in the vastness of the vast Universe.
Either humanity will pass the test for intelligence and join the Cosmic Community, with all the prospects from such a Union, or it will go to the next circle through the exam of a global catastrophe.
