Robots and artificial intelligence are already replacing service people, drivers, and even creative people. Soon, articles will be written for you algorithms. But is everything so in our future?
Consulting firm PwC recently released a report that the future will be much more challenging for people. Robots will indeed take up many jobs. The report says that in the UK, artificial intelligence will cut jobs by 38 percent in transportation and 30 percent in manufacturing. At the same time, artificial intelligence will create more jobs in other sectors while maintaining balance.
For example, PwC predicts that artificial intelligence will occupy only 12 percent of jobs in the healthcare sector, creating 34 percent more jobs in the same area. Ultimately, by 2037, robots in the UK should create as many new jobs as they take away existing ones. We are talking about 7 million jobs.
