The development of modern technologies affects not only the field of electronic devices and other "high-tech", but also quite ordinary things. For example, clothes. Most recently, Fast Company released the world's first jacket using graphene, which was previously almost never used for this purpose. Moreover, the innovative material in this case is used not only in order to stand out from competitors, but also for warming, cooling the user and some other useful properties, depending on the situation.

Graphene in the “jacket of the future” is located “on both sides”. On the outside, there are graphene membranes, and the lining is created on the basis of graphene tubes. This design allows you to remove heat in hot weather, keep it warm in cold weather, and also destroy pathogenic bacteria. At the same time, the clothes themselves turned out to be very thin and light, as well as extremely durable and capable of withstanding a huge load. The jacket itself is painted gray, and the inside is covered with a layer of black nylon. The jacket was named Vollebak and, according to the creators brothers Steve and Nick Tidboll, “Thanks to graphene, the jacket is able to equalize the temperature inside and outside, regulating heat transfer and heat gain. Moreover, it can store an unlimited amount of heat and work as a heater. Vollebak took several years of research and development to develop."

When the ambient temperature is high, the jacket absorbs heat from the body and dissipates it, and in the cold season, on the contrary, collects it, warming the coldest areas. The thing itself is created without the use of seams: all the "parts" are laser cut and soldered to each other using high temperatures. The price of the jacket is currently $ 695. But Fast Company officials said the jacket is worth "every penny invested in it."
