He is also referred to as Pacifis, and in some cases he is identified with Lemuria. It is believed to have been located in the Pacific Ocean where the Hawaiian and Polynesian archipelagos are today, as well as the islands of Tonga, Tahiti, Fiji and Easter.
According to a number of researchers, the first person came from the continent of Mu. The very name of the mysterious continent was suggested in the 19th century by the French scientist Brasseur de Bourbourg, who deciphered the Troan Codex. This is a unique Mayan chronicle, which is a document discovered on the Yukotan Peninsula and dating back to the 1st millennium BC. The content of the texts suggests that a catastrophe occurred 8060 years before this manuscript was written. The country of Mu, also referred to in the document as the country of the hills, was sacrificed. She disappeared in just one night, shaken by terrible fires from underground. These fires were so powerful that they lifted the Mu continent in several places and caused it to collapse. Ten countries were torn apart and then scattered. 64 million people died on this terrible night.
It is hard to imagine that an entire continent could have perished. The fact that the continent of Mu really existed is also indicated by drawings on the ancient stones of Ica. There are maps of Atlantis and the continent of Mu, along with other disappeared lands.
Another Mayan manuscript, called the Codex of Cortes, confirms this manuscript. There, in particular, it is said that Homen made the earth tremble with his power, and the country of Mu sank within one night. The continent of Mu is mentioned several times in this manuscript, and the document itself is kept in Spain, in the National Museum of Madrid.
The theme of the legendary country of Mu turned out to be not as popular as Atlantis, but a number of researchers are seriously interested in this problem.
