Myrrh-streaming is a phenomenon that obeys its own laws that are not yet fully established. Noticing the next messages, we, as a rule, do not think about the peculiar cyclical nature of this process.

Meanwhile, on the eve of the 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Rus, the number of reports of the appearance of a certain oil-like substance on the icons in the CIS countries increased significantly.

According to the website of the Syktyvkar and Vorkuta Diocese, on the evening of July 25, 2013, in the St. Stephen's Cathedral in Syktyvkar, the priest on duty, Father Lavrenty, found drops of oily liquid on the surface of three icons. The icons belong to the new martyrs and confessors who were killed or tortured during the years of Soviet power.

This fact was recorded by the specially invited Archpriest Pitirim. In an interview with Kosmomolskaya Pravda, he noted that “there are many such streams of myrrh throughout Russia. There is a very abundant myrrh flow, when even liquid flows out of the icon as if under pressure, as it happened in 1994 in Pechora. The icons are reportedly painted by the late icon painter Lyudmila Punegova.

A miraculous phenomenon, which has not yet been observed in other Russian churches, made on the same days (the article in the newspaper is dated July 26) the famous modest church of Nikita the Great Martyr in the village of Dubovy Ovrag, Svetloyarsk District, Volgograd Region. In the church, ceramic tiles pacified on the floor. In Soviet times, a club was made in the church, then just a collective farm warehouse where, among other things, they cut cattle. At the slaughterhouse, the tiles broke and fell out.

When rebuilding the temple, a local priest poured concrete over the area and then replaced it with modern ceramic tiles. Modern tiles deteriorated after a few years: the top layer cracked, faded, and slipped in some places. And the old one did not even lose color. The most interesting thing is that ceramic tiles are streaming myrrh, but exactly the old ones. The escaping liquid has a pleasant odor.

On July 7, 2013, a similar miracle was observed in one of the temples of Pechora. Right during the liturgy, the icon of St. John the Baptist was pacified. The myrrh-streaming of the icon began during the sermon of the rector of the temple, Hieromonk Clement (Lyamin). The same website of the Syktyvkar and Vorkuta Diocese reported this.

The Ukrainian newspaper Fakty reported that on July 2, 2013, in the Holy Intercession Cathedral of the city of Rivne, parishioners noticed the myrrh-streaming of the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, and the local clergy were notified of this. The icon was monitored for a week. For the purity of the experiment, the drops were wiped off, but they appeared again. The priests noted that the icon began to stream myrrh after the relics of the newly-appeared saint were brought to the Holy Protection Cathedral - the Monk Mercury, Abbot of Briginsky, the Chernigov wonderworker.

On June 23, 2013, an icon of St. Innocent of Irkutsk was pacified at the Sretensky Convent. A nun of the monastery noticed that an oily drop of moisture was flowing down from the icon of St. Innocent under the glass of the icon case. Not long before this, the icon took part in the procession of the cross.

There were much fewer reports in the previous months. According to Ufokom, on May 21, myrrh flow was recorded in Krasnoyarsk, in early May in the Ukrainian Cherkasy region in the Uman Museum of Local Lore, in February - at the house of Nina Kolesnikova in the city of Ordynsk, Novosibirsk Region. By the way, the analysis carried out earlier shows that much more often the "miracle" occurs at home, and not in the church. The clergy divide such myrrh streaming into “from God” and “from the Devil,” although it is quite obvious that these phenomena are identical.

Most often, one of the people who are next to the image at the time of the appearance of myemic or bleeding on it can find some kind of serious disease of the central nervous system. So, in the case from Novosibirsk, the hostess carried the icon to the paralyzed boy the day before. It is much more difficult to find the person who initiated the myrrh streaming among the numerous parishioners of the church. All this makes the phenomenon of myrrh streaming related to a poltergeist, where most often it is also possible to find the so-called "focal face" near which anomalous events are grouped.
