Flying saucers on 17th century French coins have puzzled scientists and numismatics for decades. At first glance, it is difficult even to imagine what it could be, if not a UFO? The Latin phrase "OPPORTUNUS ADEST" around the rim of one of these coins only adds to its mystery. Translated into Russian, it means "happening here at the right time."
