The peak of Kankar-Punsum (in another interpretation of the translation it is called Gangkhar-Puensum) still remains inaccessible for climbers. This is the tallest mountain in the kingdom of Bhutan, at 1,750 meters above sea level, and this peak is considered the fortieth peak in the world.
However, why is he still rebellious? Let's start with the fact that this mysterious mountain was mapped only in 1922, and even then it is inaccurate, since the first cartographic expedition did not notice this peak in some fantastic way, as the first team of climbers who decided to conquer it did not find Kankar-Punsum. impregnable peak. That is why the sacred mountain Kankar-Punsum is even considered "floating", for this reason it is drawn on the map very inaccurately, which is why there is still a dispute between Bhutan and China, whose it is.
The Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan opened its mountains to climbers only in 1983, in 1985-86 several climbing teams tried to conquer Kankar-Punsum, but all these attempts were unsuccessful: the top seemed to not let people in, causing weather and even mystical anomalies right there. In 1994, the government of Bhutan banned climbing peaks over 6,000 meters, and since 2004, mountaineering has been banned in the kingdom in general, as it "contradicts local beliefs and traditions."
Ufologists immediately stated that the Bhutanese authorities have reinforced the suspicion of researchers that aliens are connected with Mount Kankar Punsum. The fact is that locals constantly observe the flights of mysterious silvery disks here. By the way, from the local dialect the name of the peak is translated as “the white peak of the three spiritual brothers”, therefore ufologists believe that the bases of three alien races are located in the bowels of the mountain. It is the aliens who are not allowed to climb their "sacred" mountain (see about this video below).
By the way, we note that in 1998, Japanese climbers, with the support of the Chinese Mountaineering Association, decided to conquer Kankar-Punsum after all, having climbed the peak from its northern side, that is, from the side of Tibet. However, the ongoing border dispute between Bhutan and China intervened, and the Japanese had to conquer the neighboring peak of Gangkhar Puensum North at 7,535 meters, which also had not yet been conquered by anyone.
