One of the most amazing features of UFOs is mimicry - the defensive disguise of objects that we habitually call UFOs, their imitation of our environment and our expectations of "what aliens should look like." Those of you who are more or less familiar with the content of Western culture in its ufological aspect, probably from time to time ask themselves the question - why there, abroad, in front of amazed inhabitants of Western countries, little skinny aliens with gray skin and all kinds of reptilians, human lasters? Of course, it may be that their territories are divided in approximate accordance with our human boundaries. But the matter may lie in the aforementioned mimicry. It's just that the consciousness of an ordinary person there, in the Western world, is calibrated so that it is easier for him to perceive the appearance of such a man-lizard. And we are not spoiled in Russia, what we see - we talk about that …
Analysis of the database has led to the conclusion that this ability to disguise is inherent in both living and non-living objects. Trying not to "light up" very much, UFOs are often disguised as completely terrestrial objects - airplanes, missiles, ground vehicles. True, it does not work out very well for them - "their" planes sometimes fly sideways or backwards, and this does not pass by the attention of attentive eyewitnesses.
God knows what they are guided by, what manuals or models. However, we noticed that the UFO phenomenon often adjusts the appearance of its objects with the psychological level of development of a particular era. For example, at the end of the 19th century, UFOs were disguised as airships, and only the speed and maneuverability of these vehicles led our grandparents to the conclusion that these were not the works of human hands. Nowadays, they are disguised as airplanes or helicopters. For example, numerous witnesses of the flap (mass observation) of cigar-shaped UFOs, which took place in our city in 1991-1992, would have thought that these were planes flying, if not for one "but" - they had no wings, but on the other hand there was the ability to hang in place for several minutes. Our conventional planes cannot do that, even ultramodern ones.
In these frames from the video, you can see how the strange translucent object looked and how it changed.
But time goes on, people become more enlightened, and it becomes not so easy to deceive them. Therefore, apparently, the UFO phenomenon began to use other camouflage technologies.
For example, on July 21 this year, a resident of the city of Zhigulevsk called us to the UFO Commission. About half past one day, she left the house in the B-1 and B-3 quarters. She was in a hurry on business, but then she noticed "something" out of the corner of her eye, and it made her pause and look more closely.
This "something" flew at about the height of a helicopter and was about the size of a "maize" (for young people I will explain that this is a small airplane that was used for agricultural work in Soviet times). "Something" had no wings, and, nevertheless, it steadily moved in the air along a rectilinear trajectory.

It was possible to note more oddities - its body either mirrored sunlight, or was translucent, which is not typical for modern aircraft at all. Trying to get a better look at the strange apparatus, our witness took off her sunglasses and … the object disappeared from sight. She put the glasses back in place, and he became visible again. And so she did several times, making sure that the "plane" was visible in sunglasses, and when looking at it without glasses, disappeared from sight.
Well, and more details that distinguished this object from ordinary aircraft: it walked across the sky slowly, soundlessly. Along a straight trajectory, without descending or turning to the sides, he went beyond the nearest mountain.
The most interesting thing in this case turned out to be that the managers of this device either calculated its characteristics not quite accurately, or, on the contrary, hoped that no one would notice it with an ordinary look. But the glasses of our witness somehow transformed part of the optical radiation, and the object was examined.
But what else seemed interesting. Network sources said that a day before the event over Zhigulevsk, a strange sphere was noticed in the skies over the UK, and the British tabloid "The Sun" reported this. It is not possible to establish whether these two events are somehow connected.
Unlike the Zhiguli case, the English phenomenon was captured on video.
The record shows that the unusual formation alternately passes from a transparent to a visible state, sometimes acquiring spherical outlines. Of course, some considered the object to be just a flock of insects or birds, explaining these unusual shape changes. In this regard, I cannot but recall the serious discussion that flared up in the media in the eighties of the last century about the mechanism of origin of the so-called "English circles" - ring dumps that an unknown force left on the fields of rye and wheat. Some scientists were absolutely convinced that the cause of this phenomenon is … dancing sexually anxious hedgehogs. Probably, the authors of this hypothesis were also concerned about something (just kidding). However, I cannot help but note that attempts to interpret such riddles should still not go beyond common sense.
It must be said that when studying anomalous phenomena, one often has to deal with phenomena and objects that seem to be similar to something familiar, seemingly explainable within the framework of the modern understanding of the world. However, upon closer examination, it turns out to be not at all so simple. For example, our colleagues from the city of Armavir had to solve a similar riddle. They asked to tell about this case - what if some of the readers find a similar item in their personal storerooms. Or some of you will help find the solution to this phenomenon. And it happened quite recently.
The skull of an unknown creature from a museum in a village near Maykop (Adygea). 1 - side view, 2 - ¾ view, 3 - close-up, 4 - rear view
Members of the Russian Geographical Society of the city of Armavir and the "Cosmopoisk" group went on an expedition to Adygea, and in the museum of the village near Maikop they found a strange artifact that is shown there - two skulls of a creature unknown to science, discovered quite recently in the mountains of Adygea, as well as a chest with the emblem "Ahnenerbe" - a secret society engaged in the occult sciences and the search for artifacts of ancient civilizations.
The owner of the museum, Vladimir Gennadievich Melikov, said that an elderly local resident brought him a brown chest with a leather handle and the emblem of the secret society "Ahnenerbe". And the skulls were brought by speleologists. This find was found in one of the caves on Bolshoi Thach. In appearance, the skulls resembled the remains of animals, maybe even very ancient fossils.
But when Vladimir Gennadievich began to carefully examine the finds (after all, a doctor by profession), then, he says, literally goosebumps ran through his skin. The characteristic round toe-hole at the bottom of the head is the base of the spine, and its location indicates that the creature walked on two legs. Other oddities include the absence of a skull and jaws. Instead of a mouth, there are several holes arranged in a circle. Unusually large eye sockets, from which two branches in the form of horny growths extend. Moreover, the facial bone is flat, like that of anthropoids. Photos of the finds were sent to the metropolitan paleontologists, but they admitted that they had never seen anything like it before.
And this is also strange. If we assume that these are deformed skulls of ordinary animals, then this deformation is synchronous - the oddities are repeated on two skulls at once. Which, as they say, "not quite possible."
I think one can admit such an explanation that these are “two badly preserved skulls of the Caucasian mountain goats (rounds)” (such a comment was received from one of the specialists). Although see for yourself, here is the skull of a real, shall we say, mountain goat. Something here does not fit, is not it?
