Within the framework of the conference "Neuroinformatics-2017" held in Moscow, dedicated to developments in the field of neurosciences, special attention is paid to the work on the creation of artificial intelligence. But the matter is not limited to lectures alone. For example, a group of researchers from the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI talked about a study in which they trained AI to experience emotions.

During the conference, scientists noted that recently there have been 3 "revolutions" and now the entire scientific world is on the verge of the fourth. As Valentin Klimov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute of Intelligent Cybernetic Systems of the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, explained in an interview with RIA Novosti, “The first, the agrarian revolution was caused by the transition of mankind from hunting and gathering to farming. The industrial revolution led to the fact that manual labor was replaced by machine labor. The influence of information technology, I think, is felt by each of us - therefore, we can talk about the third revolution. At the moment, the biotechnological revolution continues. It entailed the decoding of the human genome, as well as the creation of specific drugs and technologies. It seems to me that in the next decade there will be another revolution - the neurotechnological one. It should radically change the way of life of a person. Artificial intelligence based on neural networks will catch up with human intelligence in development. People and machines will interact on an equal footing with each other, each will solve "their" tasks. It will be a kind of symbiosis. Artificial intelligence will take over routine work, various mathematical operations, repetitive actions. And a person will be able to use all the free time for creativity."

In addition, the scientist spoke about the program being developed on the basis of MEPhI, within the framework of which the neural network was able to express its emotions.

“The students played a computer game with three other participants, where their actions were based on their relationship to each other. Of course, they didn't know who the neural network was acting for. At the end of the study, people were asked with whom, in their opinion, they interacted - with a person or artificial intelligence? The survey revealed that the test subjects were unable to distinguish the car from their colleagues."
