The manuscripts of Avila and Molina say that, according to the beliefs of the American Indians, after the collision of the stars, people and animals tried to hide in caves:

There are also descriptions of the flood in Chinese myths:

A terrible wave that reached the sky hit the land of China. The ancient treatise "Huainan-tzu" directly says that the flood arose as a result of the tilt of the axis of rotation of our planet:
The firmament broke, the earth's weights broke. The sky tilted northwest, the sun, moon, and stars moved. The land from the southeast turned out to be incomplete, and therefore the waters rushed there … In those distant times, the four poles collapsed, nine continents split, the sky could not cover everything, the earth could not support everything, the fire blazed, never ceasing, the waters raged without running out …
During the excavations of the Sumerian city of Nippur, a fragment of a clay tablet was found, on which six columns of text describing the flood were preserved:
All storms raged with unprecedented strength
simultaneously, And at the same moment a flood flooded the main sanctuaries, For seven days and nights the flood flooded the earth, And the huge ship was carried by the winds through the stormy waters.
"The Legend of Atrahasis" also mentions the Ecumenical Flood:
The waters darkened, and the flood came out.

Finally, the neutron star began to move away from our planet, but the disasters of humanity did not end there. Tectonic processes in the bowels of the planet became more active, causing movements of the earth's crust, raising and lowering of individual land areas. As a result of volcanic eruptions, fires, hurricanes, a huge amount of volcanic ash, soot, smoke, dust, as well as water vapor was formed, which hid the Sun for many years.
This period is described in the Mexican codes as follows:

The Aztec tradition, History of the Kingdoms of Colhuacan and Mexico, states:
At that time the human race perished; in those days all of them came to an end. And then came the end of the sun itself.
The traditions of the inhabitants of the Pacific Islands also tell about the consequences of an ancient disaster:
Deepest darkness fell. impenetrable darkness and myriad nights.
The legend of the Oraibi tribe (Arizona) says that the world was dark, and there was no sun and moon:
People suffered from darkness and cold.
The sacred book of the Indians of the Quiche tribe "Popol-Vuh" tells about the time after the disaster:
A great cold came, the sun was not visible … Heavy hail, black rain, fog and indescribable cold. it was cloudy and gloomy all over the world. the faces of the sun and moon were hidden. The legends of the Indians of Central America tell that after a terrible cataclysm a terrible cold came and the sea was covered with ice. And the Indian tribes of South America living in the Amazon rainforest still remember the terrible long winter after the flood, when people died from the cold.
The Toba Indians from the Gran Chaco region (Argentina) also talk about the "great cold":

The oldest Japanese chronicle "Nihongi" mentions this period:
There was a long darkness … and there was no difference between day and night.

Under these conditions, only a small part of people managed to survive. English anthropologists have calculated that 12.5 thousand years ago about 670 million people lived on our planet, and then the planet's population dropped sharply to 6-7 million, that is, on average, only one person out of a hundred survived.
A terrible cosmic cataclysm occurred 12,580 years ago. If the rogue star comes back with the smallest half-period (12,600 years), then its appearance in the region of the earth's orbit should be expected already in 2025. In the case of the largest half-period of circulation in the stock, mankind still has 740 years.
In 1983, the JRAS satellite transmitted about 250 thousand infrared images of various parts of the starry sky to the Earth. With their help, dusty disks and shells of solar-type stars, five not yet discovered comets and several previously "lost" ones, as well as four new asteroids were discovered. In two photographs of the same region of the sky, astronomers noticed a "comet-like object" in the constellation Orion. James Hawkes of the Cornell Center for Radiophysics and Space Research performed calculations and concluded that this mysterious object could not be a comet. Attempts to unravel the origin of this celestial body, which emits energy in the invisible infrared range of electromagnetic waves and is located at a distance of 530 astronomical units from us, have led nowhere. In 1984, the Public Relations Department of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory stated that if this object is located near the solar system, it may be the size of the planet Neptune, if far away, it may be the size of a galaxy. Some astronomers have suggested that this is an unformed protostar. The consequences of the approach of this celestial body with our planet will be the most dire. According to the predictions of numerous prophets, as a result of a new cataclysm, two thirds of earthlings will die. A part of the hydrosphere and atmosphere of the planet will be captured by the gravity of the neutron star, and the axis of its rotation relative to the plane of the ecliptic will shift. But all the same, the Earth will survive for now.
It is curious that the famous drawings, which began to appear on wheat fields in the era of Ancient Rome, very often depict four- and three-pointed stars, as well as symbolic drawings of the solar system. On one of them, the Earth is absent - there is no planet between the orbits of Venus and Mars. Someone, with the help of peculiar letters-drawings, is trying to warn earthlings about the upcoming catastrophe. Possibly, the Earth with the next approach to the neutron star will be destroyed by the tidal effect of its gravity, and our planet will face the same fate as Nibiru, the homeland of the Anunnaki.
