In 1853, the well-known artist Aivazovsky, received permission to excavate in the Feodosia region. Initially, no earrings were planned to be found, but in the spring of 1853, burial grounds were found, in one of which a woman with an amazing artifact.
The woman supposedly lived in the 4th-5th century BC. But the earrings that found it are just incredible.
In the 19th century, all the famous jewelers tried to copy the piece and recreate it, but to no avail. The decoration technology is so subtle and amazing that the masters were amazed.
