As an experiment, the experts placed the animal and the owner at different ends of the same room. Two identical toys were placed in front of the subjects, both of which the dog could see, but for a person one of them was closed by a transparent barrier, and the other was not.
When the owner gave the animal the command to bring a toy, the dog brought the one that is visible to humans. When the subject turned away and said this command again, the pet would bring the toy of his choice. In addition, dogs are the only animals that understand index finger gestures. According to scientists, this level of understanding was fixed in the process of evolution, at a time when dogs helped people to hunt.
Pets are able to understand their owners at a glance, just look at the desired object and the dog itself, after which she will understand what she needs to do.
