The heroine of this story is Nadezhda Lvovna N. from Moscow. Further, a story on her behalf:

“My first gold was a ruby ring, which I, as a four-year-old child, found in the sandbox. Then I found a large gypsy earring.

I was six years old and we were vacationing at sea. Digging in the surf in search of shells, I did not even guess that that earring is a very expensive gold thing, and brought it to my parents along with other "catch".

At the age of twelve, I found a wallet right on the street, in which there was not a single coin, but there were two gold wedding rings. The next find was exactly one year later. I found in the grove a gold brooch with three large stones of rock crystal. At the age of fifteen, she brought home a long piece of gold chain she found in the park.

And at seventeen, an incredible event happened. Parents gave me stiletto heels for graduation. Once, when I returned from walking in those shoes down the street, I found a wedding ring on the hairpin of one of them. It sat on a hairpin quite high, it was tamped firmly on it …

And such stories with gold, as if by its own will, "sticking" to me, continued throughout my life. Here is just one more of them. I got sick and had to go to the hospital. My husband visited me there. He brought sweets, fruits, flowers, and peanuts.

Peanuts, he said, were sold on the street right from the car, scooped up from paper bags. I asked my husband to treat all of my roommates with peanuts. He skirted the weight of the bed and sprinkled each hand a handful of peanuts. Including me.

A wide “turban” ring fell from the bag together with the nuts into my outstretched palms. It was crumpled, scratched, but there was a test on it - pure gold.

Promotional video:

Everything was quite understandable: one of those who collected peanuts in tags slipped a ring off their finger and remained among the nuts in the bag. Then the bags were loaded, thrown - hence the deformations on the ring.

It is more difficult to explain something else: why did it end up in the bag, which was originally intended by my husband completely for me, and then fell out of it into my hands, although there were twelve women in the ward ?!

This is just one of the cases. There were many, a lot of them - different, funny and interesting in their own way … And finally, I want to inform (don't fall!) That my maiden name is Zolotova."
