US President Barack Obama will inform the world that intelligent aliens exist and that they visited Earth before the end of their presidential term, says American lobbyist, writes express.co.uk
Steve Bassett, chief executive of Paradigm Research Group, is the only registered alien disclosure lobbyist in the United States, and he is campaigning for the White House to come out and make clear what the administration has learned over the past 20 years.
In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, the 69-year-old researcher explains why he is convinced that 2016 will be the year of the world's most historic announcement for most.
Excitement was in the air when Mr. Bassett arrived at the Daily Express office in London on a visit to the UK and Europe to gain international support for his 20-year mission.

He was clutching a mock-up of the front page of the Daily Express that he had created, with the words "we are not alone" in the headline and an alien face.

He said: “It will be a reality this year and the front pages of newspapers around the world will write about it. This will be the most significant story in the history of hot news."
Mr. Bassett is convinced that his twenty years of work will bear fruit.
So why 2016?
A media storm was slowly brewing on both sides of the Atlantic.
In January, Express.co.uk was among the many media outlets that reported on the remarks made by Hillary Clinton during the race that she wanted to get to the bottom of this UFO mystery once and for all.
The presidential candidate has pledged to send a task force to the mysterious Area 51 of a military base in Nevada, where UFO conspiracy theorists believe evidence of alien technology is hidden, so she must win the election.
Her campaign manager, John Podesta, has also spoken publicly about his ambition to release top-secret UFO files.
But, in the background prior to this campaign, Ms. Clinton took other steps.
Twenty-two months after Bill Clinton left office, Mr. Podesta called for all UFO files to be published on October 22, 2002 at the National Press Club, and did the same there a year later.
In 2010, Mr. Podesta reiterated his commitment to disclosure in the foreword to UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Dignitaries Go to Record Leslie Keane.
In February 2015, Mr. Podesta tweeted: “My biggest failure in 2014: Once again failed to provide 'disclosure of UFO files'.
On September 29, 2015, Mr. Podesta tweeted about the reporter's interview with Ms. Clinton: “Ask her about aliens next time,“the truth is out there.”
And in March, Express.co.uk, in an exclusive investigation, revealed the Clintons' involvement in the Rockefeller Initiative, influential tycoon Lawrence Rockefeller in the 1990s, and tried to find out the truth about why the couple never spoke about UFOs.
Mr. Bassett believes Ms. Clinton and Mr. Podesta know or strongly suspect that the aliens are real, and her campaigning on this topic shows that she wants to be at the center of events when information is disclosed.
But he is not sure that she will become president and then make an announcement or even not get into the presidency.
Mr. Bassett says: “We're going to do disclosure this year. I'm not sure who will win the election, but I think Obama will be the president of disclosure.
“He will have a chance to receive a Nobel Prize for making a statement like that. I am 85 percent sure that Obama will make a statement before he leaves office and British Prime Minister David Cameron will follow suit within a few days."
Mr. Bassett believes that superpowers such as Russia and China and other countries are on their way to disclosure, and he wonders why Russian President Vladimir Putin has never sought to reveal the truth to the world, because he does not obey the United States and does not follow the American agenda..
