On the eve of the centenary of the phenomenon of the Tunguska meteorite (2008), various expeditions are sent to the place of its fall in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, scientists and journalists from all over the world come. According to the press service of the administration of the Evenk municipal district, now scientists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and Tomsk are conducting their scientific research in the Evenk taiga. In addition, Spanish TV journalists are filming a documentary about one of the most mysterious phenomena of the 20th century, writes PolitSibRu.

“Applications arrive every day. We received calls from London. The British film crew wishes to come to the territory of the Tunguska nature reserve on 15 August. Some of those wishing to visit the reserve call us, and some send letters to the site with an application,”said Lyudmila Logunova, director of the Tungussky State Nature Reserve.

In connection with the large number of those wishing to see the place of the fall of the legendary meteorite, the management of the Tungusky reserve decided to open tourist routes, according to the tourist portal of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

“The helicopter delivers people to the first stop of Kulik“Pristan”. There is a large cordon with two houses here. One of them is adapted for scientific research. The other, which can accommodate up to 18 people, is for vacationers. In addition, there are two more historical buildings: the Kulik hut itself and the bathhouse. At this parking lot you can relax and have lunch. The next destination on the route is Mount Farrington. From it, the whole panorama of the place over which the meteorite flew over opens. Then the road goes through the Churgim waterfall, the height of its drop is ten meters. This is one of the most picturesque places in the reserve. Then the group returns to Kulik's camp, and after resting, they go to John's stone. The next day the tourists return to the "Pier". The journey ends with the arrival in the city of Vanavara. The total length of the route is 47 kilometers ",- Ludmila Logunova informed about the tour offered to tourists.
