The 21-year-old Londoner did not expect a visit to Loftus Hall in County Wexford, Ireland to be so impressed. The fact is that the guy accidentally photographed a ghost.

A resident of the London borough of Luisham, Thomas Beavis, who travels to Ireland, did not miss the opportunity to visit the gloomy mansion of Loftus Hall in County Wexford. This estate is famous for the fact that supernatural phenomena allegedly take place in it.

Locals say that in 1766, the Tottenham family moved to Loftus Hall and soon something terrible happened with the youngest member of the family, the girl Anne.

According to legend, one evening a stranger knocked on the door of the mansion and asked to give him shelter until morning. The family warmly welcomed the unexpected guest and offered to pass the time at a card game of whist, in which little Anne also took part. During the game, the girl dropped one card on the floor and bent over to pick it up, when she suddenly saw that the stranger's legs ended in cloven hooves. The girl straightened up and asked the man why he had hooves instead of feet, and at that moment he broke through the roof and disappeared.

After meeting with the devil, Anne fell ill and for this reason family members began to shun her. In the end, the girl was locked in her room, where she died. Legend states that Anne, who refused food and water, died sitting on a chair, and her relatives had to bury her in this position, since they could not straighten the numb corpse. Since then, the ghost of the girl allegedly constantly wanders in Loftus Hall.

Thomas Beavey and his friends, attracted by the stories of the ghostly inhabitant of the mansion, visited him with other tourists and captured the facade of the building. At the end of the excursion, the 21-year-old Briton was skimming through the pictures, when he suddenly noticed the outlines of the girl's figure on one of them.

Looking closely, the guy saw not only a ghost, but the creepy face of an old woman who was near him.

“I took pictures to show to my mom and previewed them as we drove home. That's when I noticed this little girl. I was so amazed that I felt a chill go through me, - Thomas admitted in an interview with Metro. - Perhaps the spirit of Ann Tottenham still resides in Loftus Hall. This is the only explanation for what I saw in the picture. You know, usually I believe what I see, but in this situation I cannot explain what is happening in this photo."
