According to the Daily Mail, a British schoolgirl accidentally captured the most famous ghost of the Hampton Court Palace - the Gray Lady.
During the tour, 12-year-old Holly Hampshire decided to take a photo of her cousin Brooke McGee. When she took the picture, she (probably) could not even imagine that the next day she would find on it the strange figure of a woman in a dark dress, hanging over her cousin. The girl's family was simply shocked by this photo.
In subsequent photographs, the strange figure did not appear.
The Gray Lady is called Nurse Sybil Penn. She looked after Edward VI and Elizabeth I, and in 1562 she died of smallpox. But in 1829, her grave was disturbed and soon after, the inhabitants of the castle began to hear a woman's voice and see strange silhouettes. Since then, the spirit of Sybil Penn is believed to constantly roam the palace corridors.
It is worth noting that back in October 2003, a surveillance camera in Hampton Court filmed a figure in a long medieval dress. Many thought it was someone's prank.
As for the picture of 12-year-old Holly, we see a man in a dark blue dress with long hair, but nothing more, while in the usual representation of the majority of the ghosts do not look like that, if only because they are immaterial.
