Irish trucker George Fuerst from Cork, located in the southwest of the country, was returning home on Wednesday, September 30th. His truck was quietly moving along the busy road, however, approaching the tunnel, a mysterious figure suddenly appeared in front of him, which just as suddenly, after only a few moments, disappeared.
At first, the Irishman wanted to sharply apply the brake, but then, seeing that there was no one ahead, he continued to drive at normal speed, believing that he was just dreaming of something.
Once at home, George remembered the strange incident on the road and decided to watch the video from the car DVR. The man rewound the resulting video to a moment near the entrance to the tunnel and was surprised to notice a mysterious translucent silhouette that appeared in front of the car for just a second.
Fuerst posted a shot with a frightening stranger on the Web and wrote: “It happened in the afternoon, in sunny weather, and on a busy road. Since childhood, I have believed in ghosts and the afterlife, but it always seemed to me that if I meet something like this in my lifetime, it will happen at night in a cemetery or within the walls of some ancient castle. But it was definitely a ghost, I have no doubts. The figure appeared on the road very quickly and then immediately disappeared somewhere. The screenshot interested many fans of the paranormal, not only in Ireland, but also in other countries. Some Internet users thought that the strange figure looked like a plump woman in a swimsuit, others suggested that it was the ghost of a short, bearded grandfather.
One commentator writes: “I know this place. It is near a tributary of the Thames Lee. Accidents occur frequently in this tunnel. Perhaps the author managed to capture the spirit of a certain person who died in one of these car accidents."
