The photograph, which supposedly captured the ghost of a little girl in the hallway of the city hall, provoked a kind of political scandal in Spain.
The incident occurred recently in the city of Vegas del Genile, Granada province. None of the townspeople even suspected that such a harmless picture would become another reason for a showdown between officials, who are accustomed to throwing themselves at each other with loud accusations on any occasion.
The cryptic image below was taken in the evening by a local municipal employee. It is difficult to say why the servant of the people needed to photograph an empty dark corridor with a mobile phone camera, but the photo in the end turned out to be truly impressive. After reviewing the resulting photograph, the official was surprised to find on it the pale silhouette of a little girl in a long dress, standing near a nightstand with a cooler.
Ghost, not otherwise! You can clearly see his head, hair, large black eyes, torso, arms and legs. Apparently, at the time of shooting, a phantom invisible to the photographer was looking directly into the camera lens. The author of the picture shared a mysterious find with his colleagues, and one of them, in turn, posted a photo with a ghost on his official page on the social network Facebook. This was done, presumably, for the purpose of a common joke.
Why can't the girl's phantom appear in the town hall?
The ominous snapshot quickly spread across the Spanish-speaking segment of the World Wide Web, capturing the attention of not only ordinary Internet users, but also researchers of supernatural phenomena. Officials were immediately bombarded with requests to comment on the situation and figure out who exactly owned the spirit captured in the photo. In other words, the image soon turned into a small sensation.

When this happened, the leaders of the local government were forced to declare that there was really no ghost: it was, they say, a play of light and shadow or something like that. But it was not there. Opposition politicians suddenly sharply criticized their colleagues, saying that they did not attach due importance to the incident, and it was necessary to conduct an investigation in order to find out all the details of the occurrence of paranormalism in the town hall, that is, why the ghost of a little girl was walking there.
City Mayor Leandro Martin said: “Yes, our employee took this picture, but he did not claim that it was a ghost. He said that it just seemed to him, and we took it solely as a joke. Children have never died in our building, so there is no point in conducting any investigations. Even if there is a ghost here (which I personally doubt very much), it appeared on its own, for no particular reason. And the building of the town hall is in no way the reason for this visit."
