In the American city of New Bern, North Carolina, there is the Tryon Palace, built in the 60s of the eighteenth century. It is believed that this historical and architectural landmark, which serves as a museum today, is inhabited by numerous ghosts.
At least that's what the legends say. And the other day, two girls who visited this place, quite by chance managed to get evidence of the presence of at least one ghost in the structure.
Savannah Brown, 23, and Danielle Hyde, 21, were fortunate enough to capture on video a white figure looking like an eighteenth-century maid holding a basket. One of the friends filmed the interior of the palace with a smartphone camera, and a doorway briefly hit the gadget's lens, behind which a ghostly silhouette in a light robe floated. Later, the girls looked through the recordings received that day and suddenly noticed a mysterious phantom in this video.
Friends believe that this is the ghost of a woman who died in a fire in Tryon more than two centuries ago. In 1798, a fire broke out in the basement of the building, which soon spread to the first floor, where the servant lived. Many maids and other servants then suffocated from the smoke. It is believed that most of the spirits living here belong to these unfortunates. Savannah and Daniel claim that they are not in the least afraid of their find - rather, very excited and even delighted.
