On November 13, 1974, Ronald DeFeo killed his father, mother, two sisters and two brothers in Amityville, Long Island, at 112 Ocean Avenue. 13 months after the murder, the house was bought for the Laz family. But after 28 days they left the house in a hurry, leaving all their belongings there. Throughout their residence, the new homeowners said they were terrorized by various supernatural phenomena. 13. The ghost of the Cooper family
According to the story, the Coopers bought a house in Texas in the 1950s, hosted a housewarming party, and took a couple of family photos. In July 1910, a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients opened in Jefferson County, Kentucky. At that time, antibiotics were not yet in the arsenal of doctors, so 95% of patients died within the walls of this institution. There were 2 suicides in room 502. One of the nurses threw herself out of the window. Another named Mary Lee hanged herself on a pipe while pregnant. They say she committed suicide due to tuberculosis. 7. Ghost on the set of the film
While watching the movie "Three Men and a Baby" in one of the scenes, a boy is seen hiding behind the curtains. It turned out that the shooting took place in the house where the child had died several years ago. According to the filmmakers, in that scene there is not a ghost at all, but a cardboard mannequin of actor Ted Danson, accidentally caught in the frame.
6. Brown lady
According to legend, the Brown Lady of Rainham Hall is the ghost of Lady Dorothy Walpole, who was married to Charles Townshend, the second viscount of Townshend, who lived in Norflock, England, in the early 1700s.
