An unusual story was told to us by phone today, April 1, by hunters from Maslyaninsky district.

Due to the inconsistent weather in the forest near one of the villages near Maslyanino, Novosibirsk region, a connecting rod bear settled in early February. He woke up as a result of a week's thaw. The bear could not sleep again and began to indulge in the peasant cattle. He did not attack people, he stole exclusively cattle - sheep, piglets. He did not disdain goats either.

Officials preferred to remain silent about the attacks of the beast, so as not to generate unnecessary panic, but turned to local hunters with a request to calm the connecting rod. Not for nothing, of course. They promised a good bonus. The hunters hunted down the forest robber several times, but each time the cunning man left, it was not possible to catch up with him in the dense spruce forest. Having determined the approximate location of the den, the men set up an ambush in the old winter hut. For two weeks the volunteers lived in the forest, guarding the trail, skis around the neighborhood. Twice we met the tracks of a bear, but it was not possible to follow them to its rookery: the beast dodged cunningly, at times moving along the stream and along the rocky placers. Animals continued to disappear from nearby villages.

The denouement came unexpectedly. At dawn on April 1, Emelyan Pivovarov carefully left the wintering house: he heard signs of movement, the creak of the crust, the rustle of branches. Dawn barely dawned. The dog named Aka huddled at his feet. Emelyan looked closely and measured: a huge shaggy figure was moving towards their dwelling, slightly bent under the weight. "Bear!" - flashed the first thought. However, the figure walked on two legs and was too big even for a bear.

Pivovarov is a seasoned hunter, he went out awake with a gun, tried to raise it, aim - his hands did not obey. He couldn't even scream. Faithful Aka did not bark or whine.

The figure approached and put the carcass of a bear in a clearing near the winter quarters. I didn't throw it, I didn't throw it - I culturally lowered it on the crushed snow. Emelyan looked with all his eyes. Before him stood a real monster, almost three meters tall, overgrown with brown hair. In the weak early morning light, the hunter made out small eyes, sparkling like coals, and a wide mouth. The stranger raised his hand (or paw?), Waved it affably, turned and slowly disappeared into the thicket.

Five fingers! - Emelyan spoke on the phone. - He definitely has five fingers! Bigfoot is a yeti. The old men said that after the war, they appeared in the surrounding forests several times a year. People were not touched, moreover, they sometimes brought gifts to the villages, sometimes a bunch of game, or now - a bear carcass”.

Old-timers say that young yeti from the Salair Ridge sometimes bypass the territory that they have long considered theirs. People are never offended, they avoid contact with them; according to one version, the yeti are satisfied with human agricultural activities and even adapted to use part of his harvest.

A group of volunteers from Akademgorodok intend to visit the winter house tomorrow, talk to the hunters, record all traces and circumstances of the amazing incident. Naturally, our site will tell you about it.

In a telephone conversation, Emelyan Pivovarov doubted whether he and his friends would receive the promised bonus. It was not they who lifted the connecting rod, although it is unlikely that Bigfoot will be in a claim if the oil hunters from Maslyaninsky receive the money.
