Many structures are known, the appearance of which is inexplicable. If we attribute their appearance to the activity of aliens, then the purpose is not clear. All the more interesting is the story announced by our former compatriot M. K. Gabrinovich in 1998 at a conference of ufologists in Oakland (California).
In the 70s, I. M. Gabrinovich, who was not yet a ufologist at that time, worked not far from Khanty-Mansiysk, leading a brigade to repair and build bridges across rivers. There were especially many challenges in 1974 - the winter was frosty, and bridges were blown down by spring ice floes. In those days, it was not accepted to leave settlements without a message. First, we went to where the bridge was the only communication. And so there was no hurry to the village of Kukushkino - although the bridge had been demolished there, there was still a ford six kilometers along the Borovaya river, however, the collective farm chairman Gribanov sent applications one after another, in which he informed that it was difficult to use this ford. But he soon stopped. They explained that they had adapted to Kukushkino. And the chairman's restlessness was known.
At the end of July, having gathered, even taking explosives to detonate broken piles, they arrived.
It was by nightfall. At first, Gabrinovich decided that the collective farmers themselves had restored the crossing from some kind of waste metal structures. And from which ones, in the twilight you can not make out. It gleamed dimly … As if aluminum. Maybe a plane crashed nearby?
We went to the chairman to explain. Gribanov said that it is impossible without a bridge in Kukushkino. And the bosses were not worried: they have a ford marked on the map, therefore, it takes time to repair it. But local Khanty hunters know that it is better not to meddle in those places where the ford is. The population in Kukushkino is half Russian and the other half is Khanty. While there was a bridge, the peasants laughed at the Khanty: "Why not meddle?" But still they did not go to the ford, you never know what … The women said that "there is someone there." And the Khanty from time immemorial knew that this place was occupied, that “upper brothers” appeared there. It seems kind, but by chance they can do harm. If their time suddenly goes differently, the river will stop. They recalled that the shaman Toivo, who knew how to handle an owl, went there with gifts, and returned eight years later, although he believed that two days had passed. I told youthat he also flew with the "brothers". They showed him the land from afar, and much more. And what exactly, the old Khanty people have already forgotten. But they do not forget one thing - the "brothers" did not order to interfere with their "great rituals".
The chairman himself saw more than once how something shone above the forest. This was especially noticeable at night. Maybe somewhere further there was a secret training ground … But this is not his business.
Then the bridge was demolished. Nothing to do, I had to master the ford. Only all one thing - the truck stalls, not yet sipped water, and the horse is stubborn. I sent people on a bike several times. They did not get to the center, they came back. They said that it was as if someone would not let them get closer to the ford. And as if a voice arises in the head, which is no longer possible. So Gribanov signaled that the bridge was urgently needed.
One night a car approached the house. Only now the chairman realizes that without a bridge she had nowhere to go. And then for some reason he was not surprised. The car is dark, you can't really see it at night. But we know why the black car used to come before. So before the war, his parent was taken away. And somehow there was no fear. Two came out. Exactly - the bosses! Just not the regional one, but take it higher! As expected, in dark suits.

Gribanov then thought: "Why didn't he lock the door, now they are already in the entrance." Such bosses are unusual; the chairman doesn’t even seem to understand quite well. He reports as in a dream, without hesitation, as if from memory he reads an explanatory note of why he has to send people to the ford. As if this is the main concern of the bosses. And then he said about the bridge, without which it is impossible. And it is still unknown when they will come from the city to put a new one. And they nod. They say, there will be, there will be builders, but they did not say anything … In the morning the chairman began to think what it was? And was it? There was no trace of the car, so it was imagined? The door in the hallway is latching.
The next night the village slept as after a holiday. The dogs moaned, they wouldn't howl just like that. Go out and look … So no man could wake up! It will cost, they say. And the dream only grew stronger. And in the morning we woke up as if on command - at the same time.
And they saw that the bridge was standing. This one! Some were baptized, and some, whom the party consciousness did not allow, only swore. But the Khanty immediately explained that his "upper brothers" were built so that people, they say, would not meddle in their places and would not interfere with "great rituals". They began to use the bridge - in vain, is it worth it? Chairman and discontinued applications.
In 1974, Gabrinovich, while listening to this story, could not understand everything: is the chairman really joking like that? In the morning we all went to look at the bridge together. Worth it. Gabrinovich saw a lot of bridges, crossings, he built a lot himself, and never saw such a structure. Such a bridge could not stand, should not have been for all "building concepts". He seemed to be hanging and it was not clear how he held himself - there were no supports, he barely touched the ground. Slightly curved, and you will not stall, because the surface is rough.
When the truck was running over, Gabrinovich felt with all his gut that the structure had not "played". What took the load? The design was as if conditional - only to indicate the crossing. No seams, bolts, rivets. As if cast. The material looks like aluminum, but there is no trace of the hacksaw. Such a bridge will not "get sick" over time. Maybe such a substance is - that curved, curved space in which time has stopped?
We must report. But what about? If you hint about the "upper brothers", then the psychiatric hospital will threaten. And the village is waiting for a decision. Report that the bridge is worth? And if they come to check the work? Where, they will ask, foreign technologies? And what if the metal still gets sick, turns to powder? And Gabrinovich decided to blow up the bridge as "inappropriate to SNIPs" and put another one - made of natural aspen.
I contacted the regional center, reported valiantly, as was customary: “The local bridge was built somehow, but it was“inappropriate”. We must blow up and build like a human being."
It was not possible to blow up immediately. I even had to get the "written off" dynamite through a familiar warrant officer. Only on the fifth attempt the bridge crumbled and floated away as a muddy suspension in the direction of the ford, just in time for the "upper brothers".
Perhaps the way of those years remained a miracle for American ufologists no less than contacts with extraterrestrial intelligence. And Gabrinovich expressed some considerations.
Man is by nature inclined towards materialism. And in the knowledge of the world, he prefers to operate with visual things, cutting off that which does not fit into the laws already open. But perhaps another Reason is trying with some "materiality" with the help of understandable images to tune us to its acceptance? Perhaps their deeds are sometimes a concern for us, and sometimes just a decoupling. And what kind of Mind? Isn't it too early for us to ask such questions? And you never know that applied meaning appeared "suddenly" in the use of man? Few think that the principles of the science that operated with materiality are now increasingly returning to the principles of magic, which also operates with materiality, but through non-material forces.
For many years science was concerned only with matter. But now she was faced with such forces that do not consist of elementary particles, like matter in the classical sense. And the object of science was just not material forces. And if the shaman feels the deeds of the "upper brothers", then he understands something correctly in his own way: that these are their "great rituals".
