Geoglyphs are geometric or shaped patterns applied to the ground, created by filling in soil or by removing the topsoil or planting trees around the perimeter. Many geoglyphs are so large that they can only be seen from a bird's eye view.

The Turgai swastika is a mound in the form of a three-pointed figure with a diameter of 94 meters. To the right of it there are seven embankments in the form of low mounds of various diameters from 15 to 33 meters, to the left are dumbbell-shaped fill lines. The total length of this geoglyph is 512 meters.

Also known are geoglyphs like the Kogai cross, ring, lines and others. It was found that the Turgai geoglyphs were made about 3-8 thousand years ago. According to scientists, these are the rarest objects with huge tourism potential, no less than the Nazca geoglyphs in Peru and British Stonehenge. There are only 12 countries in the world that have geoglyphs.
At this time, there is a threat of destruction of the Turgai geoglyphs. In the future, steps will be taken to include them in the list of protected historic sites.
