In the Japanese temple of Hokkeji, a statue of the god Bodhisattva was kept for a long time, hiding a great secret. I do not know what genius suggested that it might be hollow, but he was not mistaken.
Scientists from the National Museum of the city of Nara, where the Bodhisattva temple is located, began to study the statue. After a superficial examination, it was decided to do a computed tomography.
The result of the research became a real sensation. The statue turned out to be a real treasure of ancient artifacts. About 180 different items were found inside it.
Most of them turned out to be mysterious scrolls, while others were incomprehensible relics. The researchers were amazed that so many things fit into the statue, which is only 73 centimeters high.
The process of placing these artifacts in the statue turned out to be a serious issue. No one can say with certainty how they were placed inside.
