A married couple enjoying an evening stroll along Portrit Beach was forced to flee home and lock all the doors after a huge UFO hovered over them.
Portreet Beach is a popular family beach located on the north coast of Cornwall, overlooking the hilltop small town of Portreet with several hotels, shops and cafes.
A local resident named Causens told UFO experts about the ominous event that happened to her and her husband on the evening of February 20, 2017.
They walked quietly along the beach, then sat down on a bench in a cafe and watched the ocean. All sounds suddenly died away, and a huge UFO hung over them, blocking out all the stars.
“It was an eerie feeling, we felt like we were in a different time. We looked up and saw a black boomerang object that looked huge. We sat hypnotized and just stared at this thing. And then we heard a hum, looked at each other, and at that time he suddenly disappeared,”the woman said and said that after that, she and her husband ran home to lock all the doors.
David Gillman, head of the UK's UFO Research Unit, said this is the second UFO sighting in Cornwall. Just a few weeks ago, two shocked women claimed to have seen a UFO in Penzance.
In the early evening of January 18, 2017, two friends were driving in their car and saw a triangular object with red, green and white lights.
The women reported that paranormal events accompanied them all the way. Their radio jumped randomly from one radio station to another, then stopped broadcasting several times. And then one of her friends looked out the window and saw a large flying object that she could not identify.

The UFO flew at high speed in their direction at an altitude of about 10 meters, and they thought about an imminent disaster.
“We didn't hear any sounds, but we understood that this aircraft could fall to the ground. We saw three headlights in red, green and white at the top of the triangle. We didn’t see the hull, but the lights were moving at the same speed and in the same direction, so we got the impression that it was one object,”one of the women said, adding that they watched the strange lights for about 5 minutes.
The women reported that they still feel a sense of fear and after this incident, the radio in their car stopped working.
