A technique for training memory has been developed by neuroscientists that can double the efficiency of memorizing information.
Scientists are confident that daily activities for a month may be enough for the brain to be able to remember twice as much information. At the same time, neural connections between areas of the brain become stronger, which contributes to the development of brain activity, making it similar to the owners of the "supermind".
As part of the experiment, using a tomograph, the researchers analyzed the data on the activity of the brain of about twenty volunteers - owners of "super memory". The data were compared with those of ordinary people of the same age. As a result, it was noticed that the IQ level, health status, the number and strength of neural connections to the regions of the brain in ordinary people turned out to be lower than in people with the ability to "super-memorable".
After the training process, a group of volunteers showed overwhelming results in memorizing information. In addition, enhancements were observed in the brains of the subjects in about two and a half thousand neural connections, of which about thirty were especially associated with results in memory testing.
