An old house. Irina's eyewitness account
One cloudy autumn day, my boyfriend Andrey and I went into the forest to pick mushrooms. The absence of the sun and the twilight did not bother us at all, since the forest was small, and we knew it well enough. However, after an hour we realized that we were lost. None of us found any glades or familiar glades. On top of that, it seemed to me that the exit from the forest was in one direction, and Andrey insisted that one should go in the opposite direction. While we were arguing, it began to rain, its noise drowning out all sounds that could help find the right direction.
It took about three hours before we saw a light in the distance. Drenched and tired, we gathered all our strength and ran towards the light. We came to a small river with steep banks, on the other bank there was a large field, and a little further, about a kilometer, there was a house. We decided to cross the stream and head towards that house.
What happened next, we still cannot understand. When we crossed the river, there was no house. Because of the steep banks, we lost sight of this house for a while. And when we climbed up, there was only an empty field.
And I, and Andrei, each saw one certain old house made of timber. Therefore, it could not be a hallucination.
