This is a quote from the Ramayana epic. And this is by no means the only mention of a flying machine in Indian epics. There are also detailed descriptions of how the gods fought each other in the skies using flying machines equipped with weapons.

Elsewhere it is said (the end of this quote has already been given): “Gurka (deity), who flew in on a fast and powerful vimaana, sent a powerful single projectile against three cities, charged with all the power of the universe. A sparkling column of smoke and fire burst out like ten thousand suns … The dead people were impossible to recognize, and the survivors did not live long: their hair, teeth and nails fell out."

And in the "Treatise on Flight" by Mahariji Bharadwaja, a weapon is mentioned in the form of a beam of light, which, being directed at an object, destroyed it. The flying machines were called Vimans and, according to the descriptions, they could hover in the sky or change direction abruptly. According to ancient texts, there were four types of aircraft, some of which could also be used under water.

One of the chapters of the "Treatise on Flight" is devoted to the description of the unique device "Guhagarbhadarsh Yantra", which was installed on an aircraft, and with its help it was possible to determine the location of objects hidden under the ground.

Some researchers believe that this is a mechanism that we call radar. The device of this device is described in the book in great detail. It consisted of 12 blocks, inside which there were some metal alloys, which gave the device "strength".

Such texts are found not only in India. The Chinese discovered in one of the monasteries of Lhasa (the capital of Tibet) ancient texts in Sanskrit, which describe wonderful ships that could fly to the stars.

They moved on a certain energy "Ego" (according to the assumption of modern researchers, we are talking about anti-gravity engines). The Chinese space agency was very interested in these documents, and now they are highly classified.

Flying into space in ancient times, it seems, was not something outstanding at all. The Indian epic "Ramayana" not only describes in detail interstellar travel, but also contains the story of a battle on the moon between two air ships.

How can we not remember that, according to rumors, American astronauts, having landed on the moon, saw there something created by a clearly different mind. One of them, Neil Amstrong, confirmed this in a private conversation during his visit to the USSR. Unfortunately, he did not decipher his words in more detail, saying only that "it was terrible."

However, after a careful study of the texts, many researchers have doubts that these devices could fly: there are too many unnecessary rooms in them, some use mercury as fuel, and some even harness horses.

Here we can only say one thing: those who described these devices, according to the level of their technical development, were not scientists, but children of their time. In addition, they wrote about things that they had never seen, retelling oral traditions that had come down to them.

But if the canopies and horses are removed from the descriptions, then many scientists agree that, despite the darkness of the presentation, a perfect technical device is clearly described. It was impossible to invent such nuances in those years of lack of technology. The devil, as you know, lurks in the little things, and in these descriptions there are too many significant little things to be attributed simply to an empty fantasy.

For example, many skeptical scientists argued that it was impossible to use mercury as a fuel, and, moreover, its vapors are deadly poisonous. Meanwhile, in our time, devices have already been created that operate on a closed mercury cycle.

It is clear that this is just the beginning, and it is too early to talk about something serious, but these machines are already creating a thrust of several kilograms. Interestingly, in form, they are very similar to the ancient Vimanas, which were described in Indian books.

The flying ships of the gods are also described in the Egyptian "Papyrus of Tulia", created under Pharaoh Thutmose III (1503-1451 BC). It tells about the flight of the gods, probably associated with some kind of cataclysm. Modern researchers at about the same time attribute the exit of the Jews from Egypt.

It is difficult to say today what was the reason for these evacuations.

The Egyptian chronicler reports: “In the twenty-second year, in the third month of winter, at the sixth hour … the scribes from the House decided that it was a circle of fire that appeared in the sky. (Although) he had no head, the breath of that moon smelled disgusting. His body was one genus (about 50 meters) in length and one genus in width. He had no voice … Now, a few days later, they made the flight. Oh Gods! There were a myriad of them! They shone in the sky brighter than the heavenly sun … Majestic and terrible was the formation of fiery circles. Pharaoh's army looked (at it). His Majesty was at the center of the army. It was after the evening meal … The circles of fire gained height and headed straight south."

It is clear from the text that the gods did not move by themselves, but on some devices. Why would the gods come up with such complex moves? Couldn't they themselves soar into the sky? So this description is quite similar to carefully documented real events.

Known sculptural and painted images of humanoid creatures in spacesuits and even in aircraft. And the hymn in honor of the Babylonian goddess Ishtar says:

She puts on heavenly garments.

She ascends to heaven valiantly.

She flies in her MU

Over all inhabited lands.

She is the lady who, in her MU, soars merrily into the heavens.

Preserved as images of Ishtar in "celestial robes", which are very similar to a spacesuit, and the very MU, in which a modern man can easily identify a spaceship.

We have already spoken about descriptions of spaceships found in many cultures. In India, for example, not only drawings have survived, but also sculptural images of ancient aircraft. Tests of these models, recreated by modern technicians, in a wind tunnel have shown their excellent flying qualities.

Another fact: the designers at NASA suggested that the Egyptian tetrahedral obelisks with a pyramidal top also depict spaceships. The layout of the rocket was designed in their likeness, and it also showed not only good aerodynamic qualities, but also excellent controllability.

But we, perhaps, do not even need the texts of the Indians to appreciate the ancient descriptions of spaceships. There are similar lines in the Bible. The book of the prophet Ezekiel says: “And it happened: in the thirtieth year in the fourth month, on the fifth day of the month, when I was among the migrants by the river Chebar, the heavens were opened …

And I saw: and behold, a stormy wind was coming from the north, a great cloud and swirling fire, and radiance around it, and from its middle it was like the light of a flame from the middle of the fire; and from its midst was seen the likeness of four animals - and such was their appearance: their appearance was like that of a man; and each has four faces, and each of them has four wings; and their feet were straight legs, and the soles of their feet were like the foot of a calf's foot, and shone like shiny brass”(Ezek. 1: 1; 4-7).

Why did the almighty Yahweh need all this vanity? God can appear even without such a pomp, but this noise, rather, is needed by jet technology.

The Prophet continues his description: “And I looked at the animals - and, behold, on the ground next to these animals, one wheel in front of their four faces. The type of wheels and their arrangement are like the type of topaz, and the similarity for all four is one; and from their appearance and structure it seemed as if the wheel was in the wheel.

When they walked, they walked on their four sides; did not turn around during the procession. And their rims - they were high and terrible; all four had their rims full of eyes. And when the animals walked, the wheels walked beside them, and when the animals rose from the ground, the wheels were lifted”(Ezek. 1: 15-10).

The observation of a "wheel in a wheel" is very interesting. Each of us is familiar with this optical illusion in a rapidly rotating object.

“Son of man! Stand on your feet, and I will talk to you,”the creature turned to the prophet, who buried his face in the ground in horror. "- and I heard behind me a great thunderous voice: 'blessed is the glory of the Lord from her place! 41 And also the sound of the wings of animals touching one another, and the sound of wheels near them and the sound of a strong thunder" (Ezek. 3,12-13) …

Ezekiel also mentions the sound with which an unknown creature lifted off the ground. He speaks of the roar made by the wings and the "great thunder" that came from the wheels. Further, the prophet was taken inside the apparatus, but he was so frightened by this that he could not even really describe the details, mentioning only about the wheels.

Of course, this can be perceived as a vision of an overly exalted servant of God, but judging by the further actions of the prophet and his ability to put things in order, he clearly did not belong to people who confuse reality and fiction.
