Recall that almost perfect rings with a diameter of about 4 kilometers have appeared on its ice. They were noticed in early April of this year and photographed from the International Space Station (ISS) from an altitude of 350 kilometers. Pictures were distributed by NASA.
There are two rings on Lake Baikal. Their nature is still vague. And the mystery is aggravated by the fact that exactly the same anomaly was found and … on a neighboring planet. There is exactly the same dark ring. One has been discovered so far. And for a long time.
The first snapshot of a circular trail located near the South Pole of Mars was taken 30 years ago. According to NASA, then it was not possible to understand what it is. In 2007, the orbiter transmitted a higher resolution image. But this did not add clarity. What NASA has honestly admitted to. Only informed that the diameter of the dent is about 4 kilometers. And it seems that this is not a crater, since the features inherent in impact formations are not visible.
