Many Russians have noticed that the domestic media are full of information about mysterious creatures that now and then come across on the territory of our country. On the one hand, it causes fear of the unknown, but on the other hand, it makes us worse than the American chupocabra. We offer you to get acquainted with the unknown monsters that live on the territory of our country.

In August, intriguing information came from the Saratov region, where creepy creatures were found, representing a hybrid of a worm and a snake, and having a diameter of up to two meters.

In 2010, the inhabitants of the village of Mokraya Olkhavka noticed in their ravine, which was washed out after the flood, a strange rounded form of formation, somewhat similar to huge eggs. Local farmers called their find "dinosaur eggs", but interestingly, there were not one, not two, or even ten such eggs, but a whole clutch. After this information, researchers came to the village.

One of the geologists who came to Wet Olhavka said that these formations are a typical example of nodules, the so-called compacted mineral formations, which appeared naturally in this soil. Then, conducting a chemical analysis of these formations, scientists noticed that they contain an unacceptably high value of iron contents. This can only say one thing, that these eggs are of animal origin. The sphere-like formation has a diameter of 50-70 centimeters and very much resembles giant dinosaur or dragon eggs.

A modern person, probably, can hardly believe about the existence of mysterious and strange creatures. But if you remember our national folklore, where these bastards are found, you involuntarily wonder how our ancestors knew about the existence of mysterious creatures, could it be that they really encountered them.

So on the territory of the Saratov region there is a legend, on the basis of which the eponymous city of the Golden Horde stood on Mount Uvek, and in the 15th century it suddenly disappeared in the 70s. Presumably, the richest city of the Golden Horde was destroyed by the underground waters of the Volga, and finally plundered by Tamerlane. Scientists conducting research on the destroyed city noticed that not only landslides caused the disappearance of Uvek. In the ruined city, there may have been some kind of underground explosion, like the accumulation of underground gases in the bowels of the earth, and the reason for this could be the appearance of terrible worms in these places. Even today, in the folklore of the Saratov region, one can find images of a dragon or a snake-like creature.

Not only residents of the Saratov region witnessed strange creatures. Such a phenomenon also takes place in the village of Tompor, which is located in Yakutia. There is a Labynkyr lake, where, according to legend, a strange creature lives. The locals who meet him are simply called devils. They say that once a strange creature, in front of many eyewitnesses, swallowed a dog, and the next time it got out to the coastal territory and scared a local resident to death.

The description of all the monsters surprisingly coincides, as it has a dark gray color and a head so huge that the distance between the eyes of the beast is the width of a local river raft, consisting of ten logs. It is interesting that the Labynkyr lake never freezes, unlike the local lakes of Yakutia. Periodically, in and around the polynyas, local residents observe strange traces of unfamiliar large creatures.

Once a local resident found on the shore a large jaw of a hitherto unknown animal. The inhabitants of the village unanimously claim that this jaw belongs to the monkfish that lives in the local lake. By the way, there is no scientific evidence about the existence of Labynkyr devils, but on the other hand, there is no explanation yet of what actually lives in the Labynkyr Lake area. The question remains open for now.

Central Russia also does not lag behind in stories about the existence of underground reptiles. So, we can meet in local folklore mentions of some dragons and giant lizards, and, moreover, they live only in hard-to-reach forests, in swamps. These disgusting creatures attacked horses, people and footmen, tore them apart. Legends are a legend, but it is surprising that these data are found in domestic chronicles and in the notes of foreign travelers.

An example is one entry dated 1582: “… In the summer, the Korkodila of Lutia from the river and the secluded path came up, people ate a lot. And suck the people and pray to God on all earth. And hid the packs, and some more.”What kind of crocodiles were they and who were they? On the other hand, it could be a metaphor or an invention of the chronicler.

Okay, let's suppose that this was an invention of the chronicler, but where did the record come from an agent of the English trading company, whose name is Jerome Garsey, who was heading to Russia through Poland, took the following record: “I left Warsaw late in the evening, moved across a small river, where on A poisonous dead crocodile lay before my eyes, struck by the spears inflicted by my people. And then such a stench spread that I was poisoned by it and lay sick for several weeks in a nearby village, where I was given such sympathy and Christian help from the local population that I recovered very quickly”?

But records about monsters were not only in the Middle Ages, you can also find later mentions, so in Arzamas of the Nizhny Novgorod province in 1719 an amazing event took place, which the local chronicle mentions, in the local archive scientists found a record that put them to a standstill: “In the summer of 1719, June 4 days at the end, there was a great and terrible storm in the district, and death and grad, and many of our cattle and all living creatures perished. A serpent fell from heaven, scorched by God's wrath, and uttered a stinking, disgusting grain"

It is known that Tsar Peter Alekseevich ordered the opening of the Kunstkamera in St. Petersburg, where disgusting ugly people were housed. The Arzamas document says that the king ordered “to drive the snake into a barrel and fill it with double wine,” but the barrel did not reach the king, but this does not mean that the snake did not exist in Arzamas. The reason for this could be that this creature would not have reached the tsar, it would have simply been thrown out or not kept intact and safe while being transported to Petersburg.

Many scientists speculate, but could this snakeworm get into the Nizhny Novgorod lands by a tornado from warm regions? According to another version, all these monsters are the indigenous inhabitants of these places. But even if we discard all the options, then where did the image of St. George the Victorious come from on the coat of arms, who pierces a certain creature with a spear, now it can be seen on the coat of arms of the Moscow region. It is not worth considering that this image is a fictional victory of the Victorious over the enemy, but, on the contrary, a victory over a certain creature that lived in the Moscow region.

You can treat stories about monsters as a kind of fairy tale, but in reality there are groups of people who scientifically prove the existence of such creatures in Russia, in Europe and in other parts of the world. There is such an organization, the International Union of Cryptozoologists, which unites almost 800 scientists from 20 European and American countries. Studying legends, based on reliable facts, studying the habitats of creatures, scientists were able to prove the real existence of monsters in many countries of the world. It remains to be hoped that after a while scientists will come to Russia and will be able to dot the "I" in the existence of legends in our country.

There is one problem, in order to prove the biological existence of this or that monster, for this you need traces of its vital activity, or some kind of influence on the environment of the place where it lives. Naturally, the animal must leave some kind of excrement that would confirm its existence.

If an animal dies, then there must necessarily be its corpse, or traces of decay, thus, the corpse of the monster would be eaten by other animals, and traces of monsters could be found in their excrement. So, for example, when owls eat mice, balls are formed in their droppings, in which you can find the so-called "spare parts" of a dead mouse or dung beetle.

That is why scientists cannot give an exact answer about the existence of monsters. If you analyze all these facts, it turns out that the monsters must excrete all important waste products. It turns out that our Russian monsters do not distinguish anything like that, and as a result of all this, we get a well-developed scenario, which was developed by human fantasy. But nevertheless, many facts suggest the opposite, only documentary and scientific evidence from scientists and researchers is lacking.

It remains to hope that sooner or later scientists will be able to prove the veracity of all data on the existence of monsters on the territory of our country. Sometimes you want to believe that a fairy tale is becoming a reality, only for this you need to make every effort in finding and confirming data on the existence of monsters in our vast country.
