Of course, a “photo of a zombie” will not sound as intriguing to many of us as a “photo of a Bigfoot” or a “photo of a flying saucer”. And the reason is quite simple: it is much easier to fake such a picture. Dirty clothes, abundant makeup, a night landscape as a background - and the frame with the "walking dead" is ready. Nevertheless, users of the popular social network "Reddit" said the other day that they probably managed to get an authentic photo depicting the mythical living dead. And not only the picture itself is interesting here, but also the veil of mystery enveloping its appearance on the World Wide Web.

It all started over a week ago. A blurry image appeared on several large English-language sites at once, showing a mysterious human figure next to a night forest. An unknown man stands on a dark road near the trees and as if points with his hand at the photographer. He is hunched over and his face is completely white, like a naked skull. The person or group of people who published this frame attached an incomprehensible message in the form of a set of symbols. No one had time to decipher the code, because after only a few minutes the picture was deleted from everywhere without any warning.

Fortunately, one of the Reddit users was able to recover a miniature copy of the mysterious photo from his browser cache. You can see it below. The regulars of the resource wondered: what caused the emergency removal of the image from the Internet? Many thought that Google's neural networks looked at the full-size version of the image of a dead man and automatically removed these frames as obscene. Likewise, Google robots remove ordinary photographs of corpses so as not to injure the psyche of users. However, in our case, we cannot talk about an ordinary deceased, since he is standing on his feet!

However, zombies are not such mythical characters, if you carefully understand the issue. It has long been known among the inhabitants of the islands of the Caribbean that the black magic of voodoo allows you to "resurrect" the dead and subdue them to their will. True, there is no soul in such puppets. A walking body unquestioningly obeys a powerful sorcerer or sorceress, but over time it decays and becomes, so to speak, unusable. Does this ominous photo actually capture a real zombie raised by someone from graves in, say, Haiti, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, the Dominican Republic or Barbados?..
