On the online auction eBay there was a photograph of a man like two peas in a pod similar to the actor Nicolas Cage. However, she has nothing to do with him, since the photo was taken around 1870

The seller who posted the rare photograph jokingly, or perhaps seriously, claims that it depicts Cage himself. “I personally think this is a photo of him, and he is actually something of an immortal zombie, a vampire, and so on, who revives himself about every 75 years. For example, in 150 years, Cage may become a politician, leader of a religious cult or author of a TV show,”said the owner of the photo.
The seller of the unusual lot is known to be Jack Murd, he was born in Los Angeles and collects old photographs. In particular, he owns the Thanatos archive. It contains about 1.3 thousand so-called posthumous photographs. They are made shortly after the person has died.
Murd claims to have found the photo of "Cage" in an album from the American Civil War, which contained many photographs of both dead and still living people. Each of them had the name of the person depicted there. The only exception, Murd says, was the photo he put up for auction.

The owner of the lot wants to receive at least $ 1 million for it. “I think it wouldn't be very smart to ask for two million in the current state of our economy,” Murd explained the enormous cost of photography.
