Expecting outdoor recreation, tourists were forced to flee the forest after accidentally photographed a ghost and heard the chilling cries of a child.
Residents of Bristol, Lola Swan and Kate Channon, camped in dense woodland for the weekend in nature. During the day, the girls enjoyed their rest, but as night fell, strange things began to happen in the forest. According to the tourists, they heard frightening sounds and felt that they were being watched.
“During the day everything was in order and we calmly set up the tent, and then took pictures against the backdrop of greenery. But as soon as it began to get dark, the atmosphere in the forest changed: we began to hear sounds that resemble steps on the ground,”recalls 28-year-old Lola.
At some point, 24-year-old Kate could not stand the felt tension and whistled in the hope of cheering her friend. The joke was unsuccessful - to the horror of the vacationers, someone whistled back.
The frightened girls stopped the photo session and, climbing into the tent, tried to calm down and not pay attention to what was happening. In order to somehow defuse the situation, they began to look through the photographs taken earlier and accidentally received confirmation of their fears - a strange figure was captured in one of the photographs.

“I immediately noticed a ghost in the picture, which was a few steps from our camp. As soon as I saw him, I unknowingly threw the phone to the ground. I suspected that we were being watched and the picture proved it,”Lola later said, showing the received photographs to the journalists.
Further events forced the girls, who decided to wait for the morning, to abruptly change their plans and flee.
“We heard footsteps, as if people were walking around our tent. But after midnight it became even worse - at about one in the morning, the chilling cries of a child were heard, which became the last straw, they describe the reasons for the flight. - We were seized by a wild fear and in a panic we packed up the tent and rushed out of this hell.
Girls who compare what happened to them with the film "The Blair Witch", which tells about students disappearing without a trace in the forests of Maryland, say that they did not find a hammer among the things they took on the hike, but are not going to return for it even in daylight.
