On August 11, the paranormal YouTube channel The Hidden Underbelly 2.0 posted a frightening video from India (see below).
In the video, farmers accidentally discovered a rat in a soybean field, from whose body a plant 20 centimeters long sprouted. At the same time, the rat was alive and could move.
Later, detailed information about the incident appeared.
The rat was found on August 7 by farmer Datar Singh. A soybean sprout stuck out of her back and took root in her body.
The farmer assures that the video is not a joke at all, as many commentators assumed, but a real natural creature. He also says that soybeans were sown in the field more than 40 days ago, so it was probably then that the grain got into the rat's body.
Most of the biologists who saw this video were amazed that the roots of the plant did not damage the nerve connections of the spine and the rat could walk and eat, as it did not look exhausted.
According to experts, most likely a grain of soybeans accidentally fell into an open wound of a rat and the conditions seemed suitable for germination.

Professor Syndica from the Department of Biology at Barnagar College says it's a miracle:
"The plant has grown very close to the skull, but the animal's brain has obviously not been affected."
Reportedly, people believed that the soy was causing the rat a lot of pain and therefore it was decided to humanely kill the rat.
