All these stories are told by social media users from different countries. We just collected them and translated them into Russian:

“About 15 years ago, on my birthday, a very strange call came to my phone. The number was determined - it belonged to my grandmother, who had not been in this world for almost a year. I answered, but there was silence on the other end of the line. I called back, but the machine answered "incorrectly dialed number"

“One fine morning I woke up to find that the laces were mysteriously missing from my sneakers. I could not find any explanation for this phenomenon. Nothing else was missing in the house. There was no evidence that someone had been there (a mouse, for example) either. The sneakers were in the same room where I sleep, at the baseboard next to the bed. I would definitely hear if someone came in. It's completely inexplicable."

“One day my mother asked me to pick up my younger brother from school. I walked a couple of narrow streets and saw my brother. He waved his hand at me and ran somewhere. I thought he wanted to play catch-up and started after him. We ran to an intersection and he just disappeared. I did not attach much importance to this case. However, when I returned home, my brother swore on his life that he walked from school with friends and did not see me."

“A few years ago, late at night, I finally got into bed; my wife was already fast asleep to my left. Sleep had just begun to envelop my consciousness, when a strange tremor suddenly seized my body and I heard a terrible whisper in my right ear.

The dream vanished immediately. I opened my eyes - nothing out of the ordinary. I decided it was a game of imagination and fell asleep again, this time deep and calm. And in the morning, the wife said that she had a dream about her ex-boyfriend. At first he stood at the foot of our bed, then he climbed onto the bed and began to whisper something in my right ear.

The worst thing is that this guy recently committed suicide."

“It happened around 2003, when I was still a child and lived with my parents in the south of the Dominican Republic. On a summer evening, about half past nine, I was sitting by the garage, listening to music and suddenly froze in place. A giant brown bird (or a bat, or maybe a humanoid) flew overhead. The creature was in my field of vision for a couple of minutes, and then disappeared behind the trees and all this time I could not move. I told my mother about this, but she decided that it was most likely an eagle. But I would swear that this creature was bigger than me.

A few days later I was hanging out with friends in the neighborhood and one guy told me a similar story. It turned out that he saw "it" on the same evening and our descriptions were identical, except for one detail - he claimed that the bird was wearing white sneakers. He called this creature - "El pajaro con tenis", which means "bird in sneakers." I still shiver when I remember this story.

“I was 12-13 years old, my friend and I sat at his house, in the dining room, and did our homework. Several large mirrors hung on one wall of this room. At some point, in one of them, with peripheral vision, I noticed the figure of an unfamiliar elderly man. He was dressed in the spirit of the Great Depression - a fedora, an old-fashioned jacket, and so on. He had a newspaper in his hand. My friend's mom, who was also in the dining room, noticed how my face changed and asked if everything was all right. I described a stranger. Then she went out and returned a few minutes later with a photograph of her grandfather, who used to live in this house. This was exactly the person I saw, in the same clothes and even with a newspaper in his hand."

“Once I was released from school because of a stomach ache. I went up to my room, went to bed and suddenly felt something heavy slump on the bed between my legs. I looked - nothing. And there was no sign of fallen plaster on the ceiling or anything that could fall.

Mom said several times that she woke up at night in pitch darkness, although the light from the street lighting, which is quite bright, always comes through the window. She assures that at these moments she felt something heavy on her body, and that something was choking her. Our house is very strange."

“Two years after the death of my uncle, we celebrated my grandmother's 60th birthday. We decorated her house with helium balloons and had a great party. The next day, according to the grandmother herself, one ball began to fly everywhere after her - it even went down to her basement and went up to the attic. None of us could remember how we bought this particular ball. It read "I love you Mom."
