On December 31, 2018, several resources of the United States, specializing in defense technologies, posted materials on the top-secret project of the Chinese military, known today as the Project WEM system. What are the Chinese hiding behind this strange name?
WEM is an abbreviation of the words Wireless Electromagnetic Method, that is, we are talking about a kind of “wireless electromagnetic method”, somehow tied to the so-called ELF waves (ELF waves, extremely low waves):
There is very little information on the Project WEM system in the public domain, and everything that is known about this object boils down to the following.
The object is a network of high-voltage power lines, which are stretched strictly to the cardinal points - that is, from north to south and from west to east, thus forming an antenna measuring … 60 kilometers by 80-100 kilometers!
By comparison, a 60 X 80 km rectangle is five times the size of New York City.
At the end of each power line, a well was drilled, where a thick electrically conductive cable leaves the network. It is believed that extremely slow electrical oscillations are generated and sustained in this gigantic network, which transform the surrounding lithosphere into an active source of electromagnetic radiation.

It is assumed that the antenna emits ELF signals with a frequency of 0.1 to 300 hertz, while radio pulses penetrate into the earth's crust to a depth of at least 3500 km, although the exact characteristics of the device are unknown and all data about it are based on scant information in open Chinese sources and approximate calculations (it is known that the object is served by two power plants specially built for it).
The exact location of the Project WEM system facility is unknown and is carefully hidden by the Chinese government, but according to rough information, everything was built somewhere in the Huazhong region, an area of central China, which includes the provinces of Hubei, Henan and Hunan, and which is home to more than 230 million people - more than the entire population of Brazil.
Since no one else in the world has built anything like this, then, according to the published opinion of American military experts (unpublished opinion may be different), China needs this facility for communication with submarines, which, according to the more enlightened experts, is sheer nonsense. And we will explain it on our fingers.
Firstly, the use of super-long waves for communication with submarines is not Chinese, but also German know-how of the Second World War and Soviet submarines contacted the command in Moscow on this captured German equipment for at least 30 years after the removal of these installations from Germany … There was no talk of any antenna fields the size of New York (more precisely, five New York) and everything was much more compact. Similar systems were built in the United States, and the largest of them at times did not reach the size of the world famous HAARP.
Secondly, let's turn to Wikipedia and see what the Chinese submarine fleet is like. As you can see from these data - although China has recently been making some claims to world naval domination - the power of the USSR / USA submarine fleet of the 1980 model is only dreaming of Chinese admirals today. Even France and Great Britain in those days had much more powerful and sophisticated navies than China today. Hence the question is: why does China need such a sophisticated connection with the fleet, which it essentially does not have?
Thirdly, attention is drawn to the time the Chinese have been working on the Project WEM system, which they have been building for 13 years! That is, even if we assume that 13 years ago they began to build it with a certain perspective, within the framework of this perspective, China in 2030 should have a submarine fleet comparable to that of Russia today. However, such prospects are not traced there, and the Chinese will be able to challenge the US submarine fleet only if Yellowstone either explodes in the United States, or a revolution and civil war occurs. Then China will technologically catch up with America in about 50 years.
Thus, the idea of communication with submarines is nothing more than a cover for the true purpose of the Project WEM system, which today is a complete mystery. Nevertheless, we can easily assume several directions of possible use of this device.
As noted above, engineers in the Third Reich were also interested in superlong waves, after which other egghead engineers in the USSR and in the USA did practically the same thing. And although all the real data on these topics is deeply classified, geologists are well aware that, thanks to ultra-long waves, it is possible to track earthquakes and nuclear explosions. And this is done by building a small, football-field-sized receiving antenna. But if the antenna is large, the size of the state of New York, then, very possibly, it will be possible to make not only a receiving, but also a transmitting antenna from it, which, in theory, can generate earthquakes.
Based on the thesis above, the Project WEM system could theoretically be something like a tectonic / climatic weapon, the creation of which the Chinese were concerned about. This application of technology is very likely, although most likely not necessary at all. A more realistic version seems to us an attempt by the Chinese to engage in mass consciousness control. What allows you to think so?
Physiologists have long known well that the human brain electrochemically reacts to a certain, very small part of the electromagnetic spectrum - only two frequencies. One frequency band is in the region of microwaves, which is used in full by the technologies of “mobile phones”, the second frequency is the same region of ELF (extremly low frequencies). That is, very low-frequency vibrations or - ultra-long electromagnetic waves that simply resonate perfectly with natural brain activity.
There have been many experiments in this area, but their results, for obvious reasons, will never be made public. Nevertheless, even from textbooks of neurophysiology it is known that irradiation of the brain with ultra-long waves leads to disruption of the mental, neurological and physical functions of the nervous system.
In particular, in the USSR in the 1960s, even a completely official medical device Lida was produced, which was used to lull patients and immerse people in a trance. And in 1981, the Pentagon for some reason irradiated the northwest of the United States with such waves, which was accidentally installed by NBC and caused a huge scandal.
Thus, we believe that the Chinese comrades went exactly in this direction and the Project WEM system generates a signal exclusively aimed at human brains. But what is the broadcast radius of this device? Does it only work within China, evoking in the Chinese an immense love for their native Communist Party? Or, in fact, the Project WEM system, like “ghost towns”, is a project of the world government and the Project WEM system broadcasts to the entire globe, forcing someone to love globally? We do not know the answer to this question yet, but we are following the development of events.
