Primorsky Krai is rich in unusual places and "points of attraction". One of them is the only natural structure on the planet - the City of Dragons. In the vast territory of southeastern Primorye, stone sculptures are scattered, as if they came out from under the chisel of an ancient master. One of the parts of this city is called the Valley of the Atlantes.
Valley of Atlantes is a rock complex, part of the City of Dragons. Huge boulders rise here - megaliths of the most bizarre forms. Many of them hold on to their own foundations, as if contrary to the laws of physics.
According to the official version, the unusual shape of the boulders is the result of normal climatic changes. For centuries, the sun, wind and precipitation "carved out" the mountain range, and in the end it became what tourists see it today. According to another, more popular and mystical version, the Atlantean Valley was built by an extraterrestrial civilization tens of thousands of years ago. Someone says that soon the place suffered a catastrophe, and the residents left their homes. Others claim that spirits still live in the Valley and guard it. This natural park is considered a place of power and a focus of energy.
You can come to the Valley of Atlanta to listen to the silence. The mountain ranges are surrounded by dense forest, inaccessible to fires. In it, as tourists say, extraneous sounds are absolutely incredibly absorbed. It scares a little and sets you in a fairy-tale mood.
The center of the Atlantean Valley is the Castle megalith. These are the rocks on the top of Spokoinaya Bay, which were named so by Admiral Makarov. From the side of the sea, the mountain range really looks like a medieval fortified structure. Almost all megaliths in the Valley have their own names: Troll's Head, Dragon's Egg, Warrior's Heart, Shaman. On some, runic symbols seem to be carved, which speaks in favor of an unofficial version of the formation of the complex.
This place is quite accessible for tourists. It is located behind the village of Wrangel, on the road to Triozerye. The tourist trail, where excursion groups lead, lies through the Zapovedny garden society. This is an easy route, about two kilometers long, where the whole path is practically without climbs. There is a shorter road, but it is a little more difficult: you can pass from the side of Spokoinaya Bay. True, the road leads uphill from the bay, so the same 40 minutes leave the same 40 minutes as on the excursion route.
A walk around the complex will not leave anyone indifferent. The unsolved mysteries of the Atlantean Valley may become a reason more than once to return to the cradle of an unknown civilization.
