According to local residents, the creeping creatures appeared here after prolonged torrential rains that have been in the area for several days.
Unprecedented hordes of worms are activated at night, crawling out of the ground and attacking residential buildings. According to witnesses, there are no obstacles for them - they can enter the house through windows or doors, and reptiles can be found even in food.
- We are afraid to sleep, afraid to touch objects, worms penetrate everywhere, even in food. They have a nasty smell, - complains one of the victims of the mysterious invasion.
The Georgian National Veterinary Service, Food Safety and Plant Protection has already received a message about the mysterious events and sent its experts to the Gori region.
The site of the worm infestation was treated with a special solution, but this measure turned out to be ineffective, so it was decided to take several individuals to Tbilisi and examine them in laboratory conditions.
