In the 70s of the last century, yielding to the demands of the public, in our country, two large projects for UFO research were established - "Setka-AN" and "Setka-MO", supervised, respectively, by the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Ministry of Defense. And if scientists in this problem were interested in the physical nature of the object of research, then the military - in its possible involvement in hostile forces. Nowadays, the secrecy labels have finally been removed from some of the materials of these projects, and the eyes of modern researchers were presented with completely sensational events, which in the old days were considered simply fabulous!
Incident in the vicinity of Derzhavinsk
In June 1979, in the vicinity of the city of Derzhavinsk, Turgai region in Kazakhstan, an extraordinary event took place: near the pioneer camp "Beryozka", located 12 kilometers from Derzhavinsk. For more than a day, an unknown object was observed by eyewitnesses, the crew of which went outside and performed some actions like research!

Chronology of Events
According to the report, on June 26, 1979, at about 11.30 pm, the first detachment of pioneers of the Berezka camp, consisting of 20 schoolchildren of grades 5-7 under the leadership of pioneer leader N. P. Kalmykova took a walk two kilometers from the camp on Lysaya Sopka. Suddenly, the pioneers saw at a distance of 30 meters from the detachment of four black creatures more than three meters tall (!). emerged from the hills. No mouths or noses were visible on the faces of the strangers, only large reddish eyes stood out! The pioneers rushed to run towards the camp, and one of the strangers ran after them, his arms remaining outstretched and motionless. The humanoid approached the pioneers literally 10 meters, but did not enter the camp, but turned back to his companions. However, on the evening of the same day, after supper, the pioneers were horrified to see an alien sitting on a chair by the dining room!
Testimony of Pioneer Leader R. Rakhimova
The above-mentioned report contains the following testimony by Pioneer Leader R. Rakhimova about this episode: “At half past seven in the evening on June 26, 1979, I left the dining room and went to the birch grove. Suddenly I see a frightened pioneer Zhenya from my squadron run out of the grove! I immediately looked in the direction from which he was running, and saw a man sitting on a chair, who was very tall, black as pitch, and somehow flat as a board. His hands were huge, human-like. On the belt, one could see a kind of short skirt made of white material of dazzling whiteness.
I saw him only in profile - he had no nose, no hair, no ears, no mouth, there were only large bulging pink eyes - it seemed they were about to crawl out of their sockets. The head is also slightly convex at the back.

Other eyewitnesses
That same night at two o'clock, Rakhimova's husband, an ambulance paramedic G. Rakhimov, saw two burning "eyes" at a height of about three meters about 20 meters from the main camp building. “Their color was pale pink,” said the paramedic. - When I turned away from them, I experienced a certain feeling of uneasiness. As if someone was looking at my back. But I saw no one behind. At that moment, I experienced a burning desire to meet these "eyes", but a feeling of fear stopped me. All this lasted for about half an hour."
The next day, outside the camp near the forest, the pioneers discovered some kind of structure that had not been here before! It resembled a tourist tent, made of a material resembling roofing slate. Unfortunately, the report of Listratov's commission did not contain any other details of the arrangement of the “tent,” besides, the next day after the incident, it disappeared, and only burnt grass remained in its place! By the way, the Listratov commission's report mentions that on the night of June 25-26, 1979, residents of the Turgai region observed a silent flight of an unknown luminous apparatus. Perhaps, it was on board that humanoids came to our land, with whom the pioneers from the Beryozka camp met …
Author's comment
The story that happened in Derzhavinsk seems to many to be absolutely unreal and therefore cries out, as they say, about proof. One of them. in addition to the above-mentioned official report of the commission of A. P. Listratova, an information letter found by the author of this essay, signed by the first secretary of the Turgai regional party committee and the chairman of the regional executive committee, can serve. The letter, in particular, emphasizes the expediency "in connection with the high reliability of the incident" of the arrival of specialists in Derzhavinsk "to interview eyewitnesses and establish the landing site." But what conclusions the experts came to remains a mystery! Indeed, in the hands of the author of this essay was only a small part of the documents compiled in hot pursuit. The rest to this day are gathering dust on the archive shelves or, God forbid, disappeared altogether!
In preparing this essay, the author tried to get in touch with Listratov in the hope of finding out new details of the incident in Derzhavinsk. But he received no reply to his letter.
Surely many of the archival deposits were also buried under the Setka-AN and Setka-MO projects. Without risking a mistake, one can assume that they contain ufological plots; not inferior in surprise and sharpness to Derzhavin. Let's hope for the earliest possible declassification of these archives, which will undoubtedly bring us closer to solving the most burning riddle of our time - the UFO mystery!
