Leith County Sheriffs in northern Idaho, US, were surprised when a 50-year-old woman walked into their office at 11:30 on Thursday and said she had crashed her car because she saw Bigfoot.
A bizarre incident occurred Wednesday night when a woman was following her husband and allegedly saw something chasing a deer running along the highway.
When she noticed the fleeing animal and looked in the rear-view mirror, she saw a huge two-legged hairy animal, whose height was 2.5 meters. The stricken woman did not take her eyes off the creature in the mirror, as a result of which she crashed into a deer, which ran out onto the road.
Incredibly, the woman continued the trip, picked up her husband from work, and then went to the sheriff's office to report a strange event that took place one and a half kilometers from 366 outpost north of Potlatch.
Given that the woman was ready to withstand the ridicule that followed such a statement, and the fact that she reported what happened directly to the police, suggests that she sincerely believes that she saw Bigfoot and did not make up the story.
In response to her statement, the police went to the scene of the collision, but found nothing to prove Bigfoot's guilt in the traffic accident. After the accident, the woman received only minor bruises, dents on the car and a story that she will remember all her life.
As for the most injured player of this enacted scene, the poor deer apparently broke free from the Yeti's close embrace to fall prey to the absent-minded driver a few seconds later.
