The apartment of a Rostov resident, candidate of geographical sciences, honorary hydrometeorologist of Russia Yuri Ilyichev looks more like a museum: the kneecap of a mastodon, a piece of mammoth ivory, fossilized bones of a giant deer, a tooth of a saber-toothed tiger, a boar's tusk …

But something else is surprising: the leading glaciologist of the department of high-altitude hydrometeorological research of the North Caucasian hydrometeorological center, Yuri Georgievich Ilyichev, has been studying for a long time not only glaciers, but also … UFOs. He has seen a lot of them in his life, and he has no doubts about the materiality of these objects.
"Plates" sat down hundreds of times
- From 1972 to 86, I was a member of the working group of the Rostov UFO section, - says Yuri Georgievich. - Then I was the head of the glaciological party, I had several detachments. Our department of high-altitude hydrometeorological research tested a device for determining the field strength before an icefall, avalanches and mudflows. They tested it on glaciers, recorded an icefall - this is when a glacier flows, bursts at the bends and huge blocks of ice fall. At this time, the voltage of the electromagnetic field rises sharply. In parallel with these studies, I was studying UFOs, for some reason they are often seen in the mountains. We studied the UFO landing sites: their specificity, in what the presence of UFOs is manifested. We worked where they visually detected their appearance. There were especially many UFOs in the North Caucasus in 82 - 85 years. It was then that the glaciers were actively studied and we had the opportunity to often fly to the landing sites. We kept a log of UFO observations, and in the study of landing sites, we used, in addition to our device, magnetometers, radiometers, and visual characteristics. It is curious that at the landing sites there were traces on the rocks, similar to those that remain after the rocket take off: jets or stripes covered with oxidized deposits. On the Chegem volcanic plateau, the background radiation is high, and where the UFO landed, there was a sharp annular drop in the background. It was found that during the flight of a UFO, a sharp disturbance of the electromagnetic field arises.visual characteristics. For 8 years, I have studied hundreds of UFO landings. It was possible to identify an interesting pattern: UFOs attract all troubled places in geological and human terms. If somewhere there is an earthquake, an avalanche, an armed conflict, UFOs will appear there. Celestial wheel with hub
- Of all my observations, one UFO was especially memorable for me, - recalls Yuri Georgievich. - It was March 5, 1986. A group of eight people worked high in the mountains, in the area of the Besingey glacier, the largest in the Caucasus. At an altitude of 3200 meters - our house, a meteorological station with instruments. In the evening I went out to breathe fresh air and admired the landscape: clear sky, bright moon, next to the icy five-kilometer Dykhtau mass, snow sparkling all around … And suddenly some change in the sky caught my eye. In the constellation Ursa Major, where the handle is connected to the bucket, the pale star suddenly lit up brighter, then pulsed and became more and more with each pulsation, approaching me. And suddenly I look: it is no longer an asterisk, but some kind of wheel flies, lower, lower - and hung. And above him I saw the top of Mount Bekhtau, height 5203,and we are at 3200.
I figured it was about 800 meters above us, huge, 300 meters in diameter. The spokes left the wheel, inside the hub, on the hub an antenna cup, and downward went a blue glow, similar to the radiation of a photon or quantum engine. The wheel itself is blue-pink and rotates slowly. And on it the portholes stand out in a darker color. I opened my mouth. And in my head I have a call, like at a train station, when first they mumble, and then they begin to transmit a message. I shouted to the guys, they jumped out of the house. I ask what they see. They shout: "Oh, some kind of wheel has come!" Well, I think, thank God, not a hallucination. The antenna moved from the tower on the hub, and again, as if the call attracted our attention, and then the signal was transmitted. We had radio operators there, I ask: "What is this?" They say: it looks like the Bode apparatus works (it's like Morse code), but the sounds are more complicated.
This message was repeated three times. Then we somehow realized that we were being asked to turn away. As they asked, I don't know, there was no sound, either telepathically, or by electromagnetic waves - they are inaudible, but we all turned away at once and the wheel disappeared. And across the sky, light waves went like ripples on water when you throw a stone. When we went down from the glacier, I asked in Nalchik if we had seen anything there. Yes, they say something flew over the mountains, and then the waves went across the sky. It's a pity, they didn't have time to take a picture, they were confused, and in the moonlight we needed a supersensitive film, but we didn't have one.

Of course, this does not sound like any atmospheric phenomenon. As a specialist, I can say this one hundred percent. It was clearly an alien ship.
