Every day, thousands of people observe unidentified flying objects, people photograph them, shoot them on video, and UFOs catch radars. At the same time, authorities around the world are trying to hide many reliable facts about UFOs from the larger mass of the world's population, calling the strange phenomena a fantasy of people or military tests. Intelligence agencies around the world are working on one common cause: covering up the traces of aliens and cosmic intelligence. Most scientists and governments are trying to convince people of their stupidity and lack of enlightenment, demanding more facts and evidence (corpses of aliens, broken plates). And here is the paradox, where to get the facts and evidence, if the authorities took control of cleaning up the same tracks.

Most UFO students associate the beginning of their modern era on the human planet with a June day in 1947. Then, in the Pacific Northwest, the pilot Arnold Kenneth was looking for a crashed plane in the mountains when he saw two flashes of light. The pilot was stunned by what he saw - it was a line of flying sparkling objects. They were unlike any aircraft he had ever seen. They moved at an incredible speed, according to his calculations 1900 km / h. The eyewitness story quickly became a sensation. According to Kenneth's description, there were several objects, in flight they resembled the tail of a Chinese dragon, cut in half. He argued that they did not look like flying saucers, but rather like saucers jumping on water. In fact, they looked like a boomerang.

But the public at that time was already well prepared for Arnold's statement. Magazines with fantasy stories and covers about flying saucers and space have firmly taken their place in human fantasy for two decades. Even the spacecraft that Arnold saw were tweaked in the newspaper to look like saucers rather than boomerangs. As a result, within a few weeks, reports of a meeting with similar plates flooded from all over the country.

Since the Second World War ended and the Cold War began, the sky riveted the eyes of mankind even more. In parallel to everything that was happening, astronauts and physicists were seriously engaged in the invention of rockets that could cross not only large territories between distant countries, but also, possibly, fly to the moon. A large number of military tests carried out en masse came into the field of sight of people. Therefore, the emergence of the UFO era in the 40s can be associated with a reflection of the state of our own knowledge and technology. A wave of observations in 1947 gave rise to many theories, including about the new weapons of the USSR, and about aliens from outer space.

At first, the objects themselves seemed completely harmless. But everything changed on January 7, 1948. American pilot Mantel, a captain of the Kentucky National Guard who had received awards during World War II, was about to land his mustang at a military airport. But he, and other fighters, were suddenly ordered to pursue a huge cone-shaped object spotted by an air traffic controller. However, after a long search, the pilots failed to locate this object, they ran out of fuel, so all the fighters landed. But Captain Mantel continued to fly higher and higher, trying to complete the mission. At altitude, the pilot lost consciousness, presumably due to lack of oxygen, as a result of which he crashed in an uncontrolled and falling plane. However, all the newspapers reported that the flying saucer shot down Mantel's plane. This was echoed by the public. After such a situation, it seemed to everyone that not only flying saucers exist, but also that they can be hostile.

Later, of course, it turned out that the deceased pilot was in fact pursuing a high-altitude balloon, a secret development of that time. Cameras were installed on them and launched to a very high altitude. The plans for the use of this development included espionage for the Russians.

However, since then, everyone began to take UFOs more seriously, including at the highest level. The appearance of facilities near US military bases prompted the government to prepare an order for the Air Force to study UFOs. There were classified materials, newsreels with interviews of eyewitnesses.

Many people have become famous for photographs that can never be explained. For example, the farmer Paul Trender took photographs of the UFO, which reached publication in magazines and to the government commission. The government recognized them as genuine. After 60 years, these photos continue to be argued, fought and analyzed.

In the 50s, the noise around UFOs in the United States subsided a little. Magazines and newspapers published little information about them. But soon, in 1952, all the newspapers exploded again with UFO reports. They printed about the situation in Washington, when the military radar saw 7 moving points in the sky. The Air Force flew fighters equipped with the latest detection systems. But all to no avail - the dots disappeared. The news leaked out and a new stream of UFO reports poured in. Hundreds of people called the Pentagon, the Air Force and the White House every day. People worried about their lives, demanded more information about UFOs and about the danger. But the Air Force claimed the incident was related to conventional military intelligence. The "clamor" was so loud that President Truman ordered the CIA to set up a special commission. Outstanding Scientists on the Commission, got together and studied all the materials. They found no threat to US security. Their verdict was: “The real threat to America’s security is UFO mania. All the records studied state that no traces of visits by other civilizations have been found. " Scientists from the commission also took care of conducting a PR campaign with the aim of exposing and ridiculing UFOs, explaining this by the fact that there is no limit to the fantasies of humans and journalists.

The Commission declared the absolute safety of the country's population. And, astronomer Joseph Allen Hyneck began active work in order to expose eyewitnesses of UFO visits. For this, he, traveling around the country, recorded all the testimony of witnesses on videotape. I must say that many interesting cases intrigued him, he could not find an explanation for them. As a result, Hynek became a staunch supporter of the existence of UFOs.

It should be noted that those who are really serious about UFO research refer to many meetings of the military with strange aircraft. For example, in England in 1980, near US military bases, lights in the sky caused chaos. And this was not an invented story of a sick eyewitness, but a fact confirmed by dozens of soldiers and officers. Then, the US military went into the forest to see what kind of bright fire fell near the base. It was a triangular ship, which quickly took off after a soldier touched it. On the second night, soldiers at the same location discovered a luminous object in the sky, resembling orange eyes in the sky. He flew up to the eyewitnesses, and then disappeared, crumbling into 5 parts …

Attitudes towards aliens are different. Some who believe that aliens are on the human planet or may be here believe that it is necessary to study the benefits that their appearance may bring. Others, on the contrary, are wary of this. In any case, while the authorities hide more from the person than they tell, the dispute over the secrets and reality of UFOs will continue for a long time.
