Nikolai Garashchenko is a very serious person, an electrical engineer. But what happened on September 23 near the village of Kishenki (Poltava region, Kobelyatsky district), radically turned his idea of the world order.
- My friends and I came to Vorskla to go fishing. We stopped at the recreation center of the Poltava Vodokanal, - says Nikolai Savelyevich. - We were returning from "pike hunting". Rybin was taken decently, even specimens of six kg were caught. It was about eight in the evening, the street was gray. The weather was clear and good. Our motorboat was running quietly. Comrade, Oleg, sat at the tiller, and I had my back to the movement. And suddenly I see this picture: in front of me, in the center of the sky, something like a star with a small luminous rim lit up. Colors float, as if passing into each other - yellow, blue, green.
According to Garashchenko, the object began to slowly descend at an angle of approximately 45 degrees. He stood above the horizon at a short distance, and then slowly went horizontally. Walked a little, stopped again.
- I shout to Oleg: “Well, look, what is this? Maybe it only seems to me,”Nikolai Savelyevich continues. - We turned off the engine, we look. He sees what I see. The star returned at the same angle to approximately the original point. If you draw, you get an unfolded triangle. Again she froze, splashing around her different spectra of colors. She stood there, striking with a glow, and - bang! - disappeared. And we, dumbfounded (when you see something like this, think about the presence of higher intelligences and feel like a guinea pig), continued on our way to the base.
Garashchenko admitted that he used to be skeptical about such stories. Though acquaintances periodically met with something like that. “Now I started looking at the sky more often. Especially during trips to the sea, fishing, hunting … In the city, lights and smog interfere with normal observations,”Nikolai Savelyevich explains.
However, in Donetsk you can easily find a UFO.

"Yolks" above the restaurant
Doctor Nina Vladimirovna Chistova walked at six o'clock in the evening in early October with a dog in the Voroshilovsky district, not far from the Yubileiny restaurant. I drew attention to a man who was photographing with a cell phone … the sky. Looking closely, I realized that he was interested in eight objects. They walked from east to west, were yellow. They flew soundlessly and without flickering. The last of them were also noticed by the woman's son, 40-year-old engineer Sergey, who went out into the street.
- They were definitely not balloons, not a plane or a helicopter. We flew at a low altitude with an average speed, - he says.
Earlier Sergei had a chance to meet with UFOs. It was about five years ago in the Crimea on Tarkhankut. “As if large meteorites were falling, with tails. White, not as bright as in Donetsk. Night, flash - that's all,”he recalls.
Family observations
Pensioner Pyotr Izhikovsky in the summer saw about five silvery flying balls in the radio market area behind Mayak. And in September - a new meeting, on the Karabi Yaila plateau, which is not far from Alushta.
- My comrades and I rested at the weather station, so the guy who works there talked so much about UFOs. He often sees them in those parts. And he probably infected us, - laughs Pyotr Petrovich. - Because they also saw it. There were six of them. Yellow ones like that … We wagged from side to side, going down and up. There was no fear, rather curiosity.

And last week Izhikovsky's wife, Larisa Petrovna, at six o'clock in the evening walked past the Donbass Arena to the Yunost Youth Palace.
- Suddenly in front, not very high, a yellow dot flies. And behind her is a white trail. Lower than the usual plane. And flickers. Walking slowly, wiggling left and right. It’s like a wandering star,”says the Donetsk woman. - This something flew to "Youth", stopped. It hung a little, and then, swinging, went towards Artem Street. Hidden behind one of the skyscrapers and never showed up again.
Balls-sorcerers
The Donbass journalist met only with some Donetsk residents who had seen unidentified objects. Much more people are watching them. Here, for example, are two fresh messages that came from the capital of the mining region to the site of UFOBUA - the All-Ukrainian National UFO Archive.
“At twelve o'clock in the morning from the window of my apartment I saw a spherical object, orange-yellow, of medium brightness,” says Anna Tivishova. - Three times smaller than the Moon, but much larger than a star or satellite. Moved strictly parallel to the ground in a southwest direction at low altitude and medium speed. I did not change the trajectory, I did not perform maneuvers. One or two minutes later, another one appeared. Then another and another … Only five or six. Moreover, until one was out of sight, the other did not appear … I cannot find a logical explanation for what I saw: this is not an airplane, not a helicopter, not a weather balloon, not the remnants of fireworks, not a balloon, especially in such an amount. What I saw really scared me …"
And here is what Alexandra Polyakova happened to see: “On October 20 at about 20.15 I brought my friend to the race track to show what I see here regularly when I learn to drive - glowing balls. And I started watching them regularly since August 2007 … This place is excellent - the horizon is clear, no lantern, no road. It was like this: I drew attention to a bright star, which began to move randomly across the sky and hover, flare up even more, change colors to blue and orange. Then another similar star flew up to it and hovered, then they both sank down and went out, after a while they flashed in the opposite direction. So I saw a UFO for the first time in my life. I come here often and almost every time I observe the same phenomenon. I don't understand why they fly here and what do they want? So, we are sitting with a friend,we look at the clear sky - and then three bright balls appear! She couldn't believe her eyes !!! They hung from the side of the Makeyevka metal plant, then they hung up and alternately began to go out."
