But it was precisely as something supernatural that the Dane Ho perceived a strange snake in Malaysia. The unusual creature, slipping at his feet, had a head like a hammerhead - forked and very frightening. Struck by this, the man, nevertheless, was not taken aback and managed to film an unusual creature. However, when he posted his unique video on the Internet, many users immediately determined that it was most likely a worm, not a snake.

And soon the solution to this “fantastic” phenomenon was found. It turned out that the Dane met a "hammer worm", which, of course, is rare, but not as mysterious as the startled man thought it. True, in Malaysia, this largest species of flatworms is considered a monster.

And not only because of its strange and actually frightening appearance. This worm is a predator, and rather insidious, capable of tracking down and watching out for its prey. As soon as the victim of this monster falls into his "paws", he immobilizes it with the help of poison (neurotoxin tetrodotoxin), then covers it with the body, abundantly releasing gastric juice for prey, which practically dissolves it. Having transformed the victim and a kind of gruel, the creepy worm simply sucks it into itself.

For humans, it is not dangerous (at least, it is believed so), however, reaching a length of 60 centimeters or more, having such a frightening appearance (especially the head), this predator causes a natural reaction of disgust and fear. Perhaps not in vain …
