Experts once again examined the only film of the Yeti. And they came to the conclusion that it doesn't smell like a fake

Many have probably heard of the famous Patterson-Gimlin film. And someone even saw him. This is the only photo of Bigfoot in the world. Or a yeti. Or bigfoot, as it is called in the USA. At least on the screen, he appears not as a blurry spot or vague shadow, but as a living being.

The footage was taken by Roger Patterson and Bob Gimlin on October 20, 1967 in the wooded and wild mountains of California. These people were by no means biologists or even hominologists - those who persistently seek at least traces of the yeti. They were rodeos - professionally engaged in cowboy races. But, according to the hominologists, they were incredibly lucky. Purely by chance. We were galloping around the neighborhood and suddenly met the "Bigfoot". Specifically the female. And they managed to shoot it not even with a camera, but with a movie camera. Since then, the debate has not abated whether the film is fake or not.

Several people have already admitted that they dressed up in a fur suit and walked along the edge. In 2002, it was even announced that the "father" of the Yeti, one Raymond L. Ray Wallace, the owner of a construction company, had passed away. Allegedly, it was he who organized the hoax, dressing up his wife in a gorilla costume. The son of Wallace told about this. And he said that his father advised Patterson to make the "Bigfoot" look natural in the frames.

Patterson himself, who died of cancer in 1972, swore before his death that there was no hoax. And he saw a real yeti. Nevertheless, in the minds of many it was imprinted: the Patterson-Gimlin film is fake. And it is not "Bigfoot" who walks there, but an ordinary one. Only dressed in a suit with wool.

Yeti's father not installed

Recently, a digital copy of the film with increased details has appeared. And again, personnel became the object of research. They were conducted by anthropologist and anatomist Noah David Henson of

Texas State University. His conclusion: there can be no question of a fake. The height of the creature is accurately measured - 222.23 centimeters. Wallace clearly did not have such a huge wife. That is, he invented that he changed her clothes. And men of this height are not easy to find.

Henson saw a natural play of muscles that no suit could convey. And the yeti's face is by no means a mask.

The expert also points to the ratio of the creature's arms to its height. It is much higher than that of humans. According to statistics, similar proportions can be found in one person in 52 million. There would be no more than three of them in the whole of America. And it is unlikely that one of them was specially found and involved in the filming.

And the female breasts that are visible on the creature? According to Henson, even with the most sophisticated imagination, the hoaxers would not have thought of adding such details to the "costume". Of course, Wallace's wife had breasts. But not as huge as eyewitnesses recall.

And one more feature: the creature's gait indicates that it was pregnant at the time of shooting.

Henson believes that a disguised person could not have starred in the Patterson-Gimlin film. And, therefore, Wallace is not his father. And a certain hominoid got into the frame.

Secret expertise in the USSR

Promotional video:

In December 1971, the film "About Bigfoot" was brought to Moscow by the Canadian explorer Rene Dahinden. It was shown in great secrecy in several scientific institutions.

Specialists of the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics and Prosthetics immediately pointed out the difference between the gait of the creature filmed in the film from the gait of a modern person. And at its enormous weight.

The head of the Department of Biomechanics of the State Central Institute of Physical Culture (now the Academy of Physical Culture) Professor Donskoy even gave a written opinion. And he emphasized that the gait of the creature for a person is "absolutely not typical." He has "natural movement, without noticeable signs of artificiality, characteristic of all kinds of deliberate imitations."

Then well-known hominologists joined the examination -

Dmitry Bayanov and Igor Burtsev, who wrote a whole book, proving that the film is not fake. Found dozens of differences between the filmed creature and the person. And they also came to the conclusion that “the hair of the creature cannot testify to a special costume, since, despite this cover, the muscles of the arms, back and legs are clearly visible. Head position, no visible neck, elongated barrel-shaped torso and elongated upper limbs distinguish the Yeti from the human.

Obviously, both past research and current research will not convince skeptics. Although Hensen admitted that he himself was a skeptic - he did not believe in the existence of "Bigfoot". Until I studied the Patterson-Gimlin film in detail.
