Most of the UFO sightings are associated with the "sixth ocean". The very term "flying" indicates this. But the land on which they land is, as you know, only a quarter of the earth's surface, everything else is water. Studying the cases of UFO sightings, this is often forgotten. However, the researchers have evidence that these unidentified flying objects feel quite comfortable underwater.
Three quarters of our planet is occupied by the ocean. These places are less accessible for observation. The route of airplanes and ships is usually strictly defined and usually passes through a few areas of intense shipping. Huge expanses of water are rarely visited by ships.
If we examine in detail the reports of the appearance of UFOs, then curious facts are revealed: in the overwhelming majority of cases they appear from the side of the sea and in the same direction disappear from the field of view of observers. In the 19th century, few people heard about these objects on land, but sailors repeatedly met with them on the high seas. The sailors were always psychologically always ready to meet all kinds of sea monsters. It happened so often. But UFOs were superior to anything that humanity could create at that time. All the more valuable are the testimonies of the crews of sea-going ships about encounters with UFOs, because all anomalous phenomena and objects discovered near the ship are necessarily recorded in the logbooks. And contacts, in this case, receive documentary confirmation.
And in the XIX, XX and XXI centuries, there were cases when some unknown objects rapidly flew out of the water and disappeared at high speed in the sky. For example, in 1824, The Diary of Andrew Blockham was published, which described a similar phenomenon observed on August 12 of the same year, when Blockham's ship was sailing through the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Record in the logbook:
“Today, August 12, 1824, at about 3.30 am, the night watch on deck suddenly froze with amazement: everything around was lit up with light. Looking east, they saw a huge, round, luminous body rising at about 7 degrees from the water to the clouds, then dropping out of sight. The same picture was repeated again. The body was the color of a red-hot cannonball and the size of the sun. It emitted such a strong light that you could find a needle on the deck.
1845, June 18 - the brigantine "Victoria" was in the Indian Ocean, 1360 km from Asia Minor. Suddenly, the crew witnessed a mysterious phenomenon. Within ten minutes, half a mile from the ship, three sparkling bodies flew out of the water and disappeared into the sky. But the sailors were able to see them: the bodies were in the form of disks 5 times the size of the Moon and were connected by thin glowing rods. Soon the discs reappeared and, approaching the surface of the water, went under it.

1887 - near Cape Reis (North Atlantic), members of the crew of the English ship "Siberian" also observed a luminous disk emerging from the water. He slowly climbed to a height of 16 m and for some time moved against the wind, then stopped, quickly gained altitude and disappeared into the sky. This whole phenomenon lasted no more than 5 minutes.
Scientist A. Sanderson from America, who has devoted many years to studying the secrets of the depths of the sea, is the author of the most interesting book entitled "Invisible Residents". In it, he gave more than 30 examples when unknown objects fell or sank into the water, and also started from the ocean depths.
1966 - military maneuvers were conducted in the North Atlantic under the code name "Dean Freeze". They took place in difficult ice conditions, so icebreakers were involved. On board one of them was the famous polar explorer Rubens J. Villela. Together with the officer of the watch and the helmsman, he witnessed a fantastic sight - the launch of an underwater UFO. The scientist described what he saw: “Suddenly, breaking through an almost three-meter thickness of ice, a silvery spherical body emerged from the depths and disappeared into the sky at great speed. The object was at least 12 yards in diameter, but the hole it pierced was much larger. At the same time, the cold water in it was covered with clouds of steam, probably from the hot casing of this ball."
Not only did the UFO break through the three-meter ice, huge blocks of ice, thrown to a great height, crashed onto the hummocks with a crash. In general, the picture was not for the faint of heart.
1990 - Academician Rimiliy Avramenko watched with his colleagues the departure of three UFOs from under the water in the Bering Strait. They did not comment on the incident.
Departures from the water and the disappearance of UFOs in the sky were also observed in 1953 in the Mediterranean Sea, in 1955 near the coast of California, 1956-1957. off the coast of England, in 1967 off the coast of Venezuela, in 1970 in the Black Sea. In some cases, unidentified objects flying out of the water hovered for some time in the sky and only then flew away.
Soviet sailors have repeatedly witnessed such phenomena. 1965, August - members of the crew of the ship "Raduga" in the Red Sea watched as a fireball with a diameter of 60 m flew out of the water two miles from the vessel and hovered at an altitude of 100-150 m above the sea surface, illuminating it. After him a huge column of water rose, which then crashed into the sea with a crash. The ball hung for several minutes and, smoothly picking up speed, flew away.
The members of the crew of the warship "Vasily Kiselev", who in December 1977 were near the island of New Georgia, also witnessed the underwater launch of a UFO. They watched as a round flattened torus-shaped object rose vertically from the water. Its dimensions were truly amazing - 300–500 m in diameter! It hovered at an altitude of 4-5 km, and the ship's radar and radio communications immediately went out of order. The UFO hung in the air for three hours. The sailors managed to take photos of him without hindrance. Then the “strange donut” instantly disappeared …
And here are some more facts of the appearance of UFOs from under the water. 2000, February 12 - Australian cadets-sailors underwent training on board the motor-sailing brigade "Mirage". On that day, a UFO flew out from under the water, about which the captain of the ship Stephen Insider made the following entry in the logbook: “… at 13.47, an absolutely unidentifiable an object of spherical shape, which, having taken off to a height of a mile, suddenly rushed with great speed in the opposite direction and disappeared from the field of view in a split second.
Around the same numbers, the "underwater" UFO frightened two fishermen. Their boat was about a mile from the shore, the depth underneath was about 200 meters. Suddenly a huge black triangle burst out from under the water at 30-40 m. He kicked up giant waves and foam. The fishermen were shocked. One of them, 57-year-old Patrick Moe, died of fear right in the boat. Another, 45-year-old Alec Yomin, recovered from the shock, was able to bring the boat to the shore. Many did not believe his story.
There are a number of reports of ship captains and coastguards from different countries, which describe cases of falling or landing on the water of some unknown objects. Sometimes several UFOs sank into the water at once. Characteristically, such observations were first described back in 1919 by Charles Fort in his "Book of the Damned". 1884 UFO flew over the English ship Inneriusz and entered the water next to it with a strong sound. The resulting wave nearly overturned the ship.
1887 - Two circular UFOs appeared over the Dutch ship Ginny Hey. One of them was luminous, the other was dark.
1906 - 600 miles from Cape Reis (North Atlantic), the crew of the Saint Andrew steamer saw three UFOs entering the water one after another at a distance of about 5 miles from it. Soon another one, in the form of a saucer 3-5 m in diameter, flew in a zigzag path and also sank into the water a mile from the steamer.
Of particular interest are the cases when unidentified objects first carried out maneuvers over ships and only after that they went under water. 1966, March - eyewitnesses, who were on the Argentine coast of St. George's Bay, saw a cigar-shaped metal object about 20 m long. There were several ships in the bay at that time. The UFO hovered for some time at 12 m above the water, and then smoothly flew away towards the ocean.
1969, July - American military transport "Sparrow" followed in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean. One day, the captain and the sailors on watch watched as an elliptical object 25 m in diameter slowly flew over the ship at an altitude of 200 m. The ship immediately lost radio communications. Increasing speed, the object sank into the water 5 miles from the vessel. A glowing circle was visible at the site of his dive for several minutes.
1974 November - Dozens of crew members of the Blackburn destroyer in the Indian Ocean observed three round luminous objects. They circled smoothly over the ship, and after 17 minutes. went under the water, raising a large fountain of spray. The ship's sonars tracked their movement in the water for some time.
But the most curious encounter with the "underwater" UFO occurred in 1972 on the Mediterranean coast near the Italian Savona. Numerous eyewitnesses saw a disc-shaped object with a diameter of 100 m descending. Rays emanated from it at regular intervals, illuminating the surface of the sea. At first, the disk flew in a circle, as if requesting a landing. Suddenly, 200 meters from the shore, some lights lit up under the water. The unidentified object smoothly sank into the water at this point.
There are also known cases when UFOs slid along the surface of the water for some time, and then went to a depth.
1967 - the ship "Naviero" (Argentina), was sailing 120 miles off the coast of Brazil. At 0615 hours, officer Jorge Montoya reported that a strange object had appeared near the ship. The captain who ran up to the deck saw a shining, cigar-shaped object, 105-110 feet long, about 50 feet to starboard. A powerful bluish-white glow emanated from him. The object did not make any sounds and did not leave marks on the water. For a quarter of an hour it moved parallel to the Naviero, then suddenly dived, passed directly under the ship and quickly disappeared into the depths, radiating a radiance under the water.
All of the above allows with good reason to call such bodies unidentified underwater objects (UDO). The famous explorer Jean Picard observed them twice under water. Both times this happened while diving into the ocean depths of the bathyscaphe. 1959, November 15 - he made the following entry in the logbook: “10.57. Depth 900 meters. A large disc-shaped object with numerous luminous points was noticed. The second time he observed in 1968 in the Bahamas region an elliptical NGO more than 30 meters long, moving at high speed at a considerable depth.
An interesting entry was left in their logbook by researchers of the sea depths in Sevastopol. While in a deep-sea bathyscaphe, they observed an unidentified underwater object in the shape of a wheel. The diameter of this structure was striking - about a 10-storey building. She stood upright. From the bathyscaphe it was seen how this "wheel" then took a horizontal position and began to rotate, and then left.
A "special" relationship has developed between NGOs and the military of different countries. The year 1960 was especially "fruitful" for meetings with them. In February of this year, an underwater object was discovered in the Caribbean Sea by sonars of the US Navy, which was moving at incredible speed. The crews of the warships were put on alert, the alarm subsided only with the disappearance of the unknown alien. Then two NGOs were discovered in the Gulf of Nuevo off the coast of Argentina. It was decided to close all exits from the bay. Argentine Navy ships have attacked the area with depth charges. To everyone's surprise, the NGOs disappeared. But soon six NGOs were found there. They were pursued for two weeks. But it was unsuccessful.
1960, May - American ships tried unsuccessfully to force an NGO to surface near the Florida Peninsula. At the same time, a representative of the Navy firmly stated that this object "definitely could not be a submarine." At the end of the same year, 50 miles from San Francisco, sonars "spotted" the NGO. Eleven destroyers and naval aircraft were sent to search for and capture him, but they were never able to locate an unidentified underwater object.
1963 - The Americans conducted naval maneuvers off the coast of Puerto Rico in the Atlantic Basin. Unexpectedly, the course of the exercises was disrupted: the hydroacoustics of the search and strike group reported to the bridge of the command ship that one of the submarines of the formation was leaving the prescribed position. As it turned out, she was chasing an unidentified underwater object moving at a depth of 150 knots (280 km / h)! That was incredible! At the same time, the object made vertical zigzag maneuvers in a matter of minutes and sank to a depth of 6,000 meters. It is clear that it was not possible to catch up with NGOs. However, he accompanied the American search and strike group for four days. All this was like a game of "cat and mouse".
But not always unidentified underwater objects sink to great depths. 1965, January - in one of the bays off the coast of New Zealand, a metal object 30 m long was discovered from a DC-3 aircraft, stationary at a depth of only 10 m. It did not look like a submarine, but because of the shallow water the appearance of a submarine there was simply impossible. The NGO soon disappeared.
1965, September - US aircraft carrier Bunker Hill) was operating as part of a strike group south of the Azores when an NGO was discovered by hydroacoustics. He moved at a speed of 150-200 knots (about 300 km / h). The Tracker attack aircraft were raised from the deck of the aircraft carrier and ordered to destroy an unknown underwater object. But as the planes approached, the NPO flew out of the ocean and at incredible speed escaped the pursuers.
It is quite obvious that all these objects could not be submarines. After all, the maximum speed of modern submarines is 45 knots (70 km / h), and the maximum diving depth is 500 meters. And the time of immersion of the most modern bathyscaphe to a depth of 6000 meters is about 3 hours. It is also characteristic that when the NGOs moved behind them, no bands of bubbling or foaming water were observed. This indicates the specific nature of their movement. As for their maneuverability, it defies any explanation.
Today, many areas of the ocean shelf are equipped with a network of modern passive sonars, which record the appearance and advance of "enemy" submarines. They also fix the appearance of unidentified underwater objects, but nothing more - the mystery of these objects remains unsolved.
Recently, the sensational results of a submersion of a deep-sea vehicle created in America, which was lowered on steel cables to a depth of 11,000 meters in the Mariana Trench, became known. This unmanned vehicle was equipped with powerful lighting devices and sensitive television systems. For several hours the dive proceeded normally; television equipment and special microphones did not provide any information that could be of scientific interest. And suddenly something happened: on the TV screens in the light of powerful searchlights, the silhouettes of strange large bodies began to flash. The microphones transmitted the frightening sounds of scraping iron and thuds.
We made a decision on urgent lifting of the apparatus. When the platform appeared on the surface of the ocean, it turned out that the powerful structures that ensure its rigidity were strongly bent, and the steel cable seemed to be half sawn off - a little more and the unique apparatus could forever remain at the bottom of the deepest place in the ocean. What happened to him there remained a mystery.
All the described cases of people meeting with NGOs give rise to a lot of assumptions and guesses: from regular visits by representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations to moving in space and time. But the famous American scientist, researcher of the ocean depths A. Sanderson analyzed numerous archival materials of the US Navy and put forward a particularly interesting and rather plausible hypothesis about the presence of a highly developed underwater civilization on our planet.
Of course, with a strong desire, one could try to explain our "meetings" with UFOs and NGOs by some hitherto unexplored atmospheric or hydrospheric phenomena, but, you must admit, they do not have a pronounced "technogenic connotation." But numerous documented observations of unidentified flying and underwater objects cannot be interpreted otherwise than an encounter with bodies created by an incredible mind. But who has it and how it threatens humanity remains a mystery for now …
